23/03/2026: Léon Meyzieu, we were served by Marinette. She is very efficient and friendly. You'd be wise to keep her. Mussels: many had broken shells.

21/03/2026: Alizée was indeed very competent and pleasant, the service was quick and efficient, however the ice cream cones were empty and upside down 🙃

24/04/2026: My wife and I went to JOLS and had a wonderful time. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, the food is delicious, and the desserts are simply perfect! The tables are well-set and spaced out—absolutely fantastic! I highly recommend it! 😊😊

20/04/2026: If I could have given zero stars, I would have. I came for dinner this past Saturday, April 18th, and honestly, I've never seen anything like it. The manager was yelling at everyone for no reason, even though everyone else was running around trying to provide good service, and she was doing absolutely nothing. She was chewing gum for almost the entire meal, which is not very professional. Paying was another ordeal because the manager took our money while holding her phone. I truly believe I've seen it all. Luckily, the servers were efficient and pleasant.

14/02/2026: A very average experience in this place where you're crammed in like sardines. The waitress's constant "come on" after every sentence didn't exactly contribute to the tranquility of the place. The food was mediocre, exemplified by the very bland fish soup. A shame, because the shrimp were good and the seafood selection was quite extensive.

19/04/2026: We once again thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Léon de Villefranche, from aperitifs to mussels and dessert. The quality of the food is excellent. Séverine was very pleasant and attentive. I highly recommend Léon Villefranche.

19/10/2025: Yesterday, Saturday, October 18th, my first casserole of mussels with green curry in this restaurant. Excellent, I'll be back 🙏🏼. Impossible, the adventure is over. 10/04/2026: Excellent seafood platter, tasting of oysters from various oyster beds, and a surprisingly good Charentes white wine. I had a wonderful time.

18/03/2026: A wonderful discovery! Freshness and quality are guaranteed, the atmosphere is friendly, and the dishes are prepared with love and expertise, making L'Huîtrier the best seafood restaurant in Lyon.

02/03/2026: A nice pub that a friend introduced me to. We went there in the afternoon for a good beer while waiting for the concert we'd come to see at Tony Garnier. The atmosphere was quite relaxed, but it was still very pleasant. I'll definitely go back to this pub next time I'm in Lyon.

15/01/2026: I've been going to Kelly's for almost 8 years now, and I can say without hesitation that it's THE pub for a great night out in Old Lyon! Super friendly atmosphere, fantastic staff, pizzas and sausages, rugby or football matches, dartboards… there's always a good reason to go. A huge bonus is the quizzes that take place every Wednesday evening! A real pub, just the way we like them, where you feel comfortable and want to stay. Go for it! 🍻

28/02/2026: I was supposed to be celebrating something that day. I went there with my friend at noon. The staff didn't speak a word of French... None of what we wanted was on the menu. No salmon, no langoustines, no fish at all. Beforehand, I had checked my own menu: the prices didn't match what was displayed in the restaurant. For example, they ordered four gratinated oysters, but there they only served three. We had to ask for one more. The mussels were frozen and barely edible. They were also so small we wondered where we'd get them. Again, the waiter lied, saying before we ordered that they would be enormous! My friend ordered a scallop carpaccio. There was one scallop, so small I thought it was just a garnish. To make up for it, they offered me a glass of wine (but not my friend). However, the bill was ENORMOUS. Over €165... And to think I'd been before and the first visit was great.
