17/09/2023: Great bar - no sign of food in spite of the name, but maybe we've called in at the wrong time. However, unlike many of the previous reviewers, I found the staff waiting on table to be more than friendly, showing patience with my pathetic French, indulging our odd requests (even a longe/grand cafe noir comes in a small cup half full - everywhere) and happily accepting us eating food bought at the boulangerie next door. This seems acceptable in France.
Looks like becoming a regular morning & evening watering hole for our week here. Super views and pretty village.

I sit down at the table. Napkin full of lipstick. Fork with pieces of cheese on it. Either. They change them for us.
We command. THE SERVER SHUTS OUT IN THE MIDDLE OF MY SENTENCE?????????
Either. He returns. We order a seafood platter. AND THERE.... Do you know the iron thing for placing seafood platters? FULL OF DRY CHEESE OR I DON’T KNOW WHAT!!!! (dry mayonnaise ????)
and there we smell the oysters... CATA. we know how to recognize oysters that are not fresh. We preferred to stop there.
NEVER GO THERE.
