10/03/2026: Excellent little café-restaurant, charming and perfect for a delicious meal, located at the foot of the church on a small Place St. Pierre with a pleasant terrace. The menu is just right to satisfy all tastes. We opted for the cuttlefish stew with white Martini, served with grilled chorizo, polenta, and rouille (the cuttlefish were caught that very morning at the small port of Noël just opposite), and a very generous Indian Chicken Curry Poké Bowl with marinated chicken, peanuts, cherry tomatoes, avocado, edamame, fried onions, fragrant rice, salad, and curry mayonnaise... Truly delicious. Impeccable, friendly, and welcoming service. Spotless and fun restrooms. Very nice interior decor. I recommend it 200%!

10/04/2026: After consulting the restaurant's online menu, my partner and I were tempted by the Greek menu. Upon arrival, after being greeted by a DJ and finding the dining room empty, we were seated by a rather odd young woman. Her glances towards my wife were certainly not pleasant. We then looked at the menu, which, to our great surprise, had recently been changed (of course, this change wasn't mentioned on the website). It's true that updating a menu is a good thing for a restaurant, but perhaps you should try the dishes you serve on those metal trays you'd find in a prison or a school cafeteria. Everyone has different tastes, so when you try a new recipe with breaded chicken made from flour mixed with cinnamon, it might be better to warn customers that they're about to eat speculoos cookies. With the accompanying side dishes resembling weeds in the garden. This restaurant, which had a nice decor, was empty, just us and one other table, while the surrounding restaurants were packed…before trying strange culinary experiments, consider filling your rooms and putting a smile on your waitresses.

24/11/2025: Beach restaurants and thatched huts are often tourist traps, but Palm-B, right on the sand, is an exception, even in the height of summer! 👈👌 We highly recommend it, being locals 🫶

11/12/2025: Overall, the stay was okay, but the end was a very bad experience. The campsite kept my entire deposit after my early departure, without providing a quote or invoice. I had to wait several weeks and take steps to finally receive a belated invoice and a partial refund. Since the inventory was carried out without me, communication was complicated and lacked transparency. Furthermore, when I came to the campsite to get an explanation, I received a very poor welcome and was subjected to unacceptable behavior from an employee, which led me to file a complaint. It's a shame, because the stay itself had gone well, but the handling of the deposit and the staff's behavior completely ruined the experience. I'm sharing my opinion to warn future customers to be vigilant.

17/03/2026: I returned to Café Valmer after a few years with wonderful memories, but today's experience was unfortunately very different. I was looking forward to enjoying a nice piece of meat, but I was sorely disappointed: everything was sorely lacking in flavor. Whether it was the meat itself, the accompanying sauces, or even the dessert, everything was incredibly bland. It's a real shame because I had a much higher opinion of this establishment. I hope it was just an off day in the kitchen.

03/01/2026: Reservation made through The Fork but the restaurant is closed, despite reviews for December 31st, strange, luckily we were able to find another restaurant

01/01/2026: We made a reservation a week in advance using the 50% discount on the à la carte menu advertised on TheFork. The restaurant only informed us that morning of a set menu for December 31st, with no à la carte options available. This information was not provided at the time of booking. We therefore cancelled.
