06/04/2024: Eating at “Safran” is like being invited to the house of the man who runs the restaurant. There is a real feeling of closeness and warmth that cannot be found anywhere else. To give you an idea, we tried to come and eat in the evening a month ago but I misread the timetable and we came at closing time. Despite this, the owner offered us a gazelle horn for our trouble. All dishes are vegetarian. Me and my partner were able to eat the pea tagine and the sweet potato/pear tagine. It was tasty and all the more delicious as the flavors of the dishes were mastered. The deserts are varied and succulent. In short, I advise you to stop by this restaurant. I hope this will be as much a pleasure for you as it was for me.

01/04/2024: The kindness and welcome of the owner is incredible, however it is a tea room, it is not a restaurant, there are no dishes cooked on site. The vegetable couscous is good but poor in ingredients, the 12 euros are excessive considering that. We must also review hygiene and the use of gloves; these same gloves cannot cook, touch the telephone or give change. They are not used to protect hands but to avoid cross contamination...

04/04/2024: The food was excellent and the ambience was beautiful. The interior of the restaurant makes you feel like you are in Bali. The food pricing is on the higher side but the quantity and the flavours made up for it. The cocktails were served with bamboo straws which was a very nice tropical touch. We tried: Martabak Sayur - it was nice with their homemade spicy sauces Nasi goreng - exceptional! Comes with egg on top which you can ask them to not add. Also served with tofu skewers on the side. Sate tahu Padang - it was okay and did not impress us like the other dishes. The cocktails are priced at 6-7€. They were decent. The menu midi for an apitizer and main will cost 16,50 and has vegetarian options. I feel a little bad giving a star less for the service it is only because the guy was super friendly but the lady who works there was very cold to us.

03/04/2024: Be sure to try the squid curry as the main dish on the lunch menu! The curry is really delicious, so it’s a must for anyone going to Toulouse!!! For starters, fried vegetables and fried corn vegetables are delicious, and for dessert, I recommend pineapple cake. You can also eat on the terrace, and all the staff were friendly, so I had a pleasant meal!

Wines included in sufficient quantity and of excellent quality. Possibility of changing the dessert for those who don't like chocolate cakes, and other details that confirm the attention paid to customers. Well done and thank you. Establishment to recommend. 05/04/2024: Excellent. Quite an intimate place, which from a distance looks like a fast food restaurant like you find on this street. But once seated, the experience is completely different. The chef is very friendly and cooks really well. The flavors of Lebanon are there.

28/03/2024: Super. We were there 9 years ago and this Easter vacation we have decided to repeat and again, a success. The eggplant galette is spectacular, as is the hummus... And I imagine the falafel too, because when we went today they were sold out!!! It is a place to go without rushing, but it has a pleasant atmosphere that makes you not mind waiting

05/04/2024: It’s flawless for this little Toulouse restaurant! The smile and professionalism of Tia, the waitress, contributed a lot (thanks again for the wine tasting!!), and the dishes are original and delicious. Go there with your eyes closed!
