19/03/2024: I believe that the owner of the restaurant is on a mission to make as many victims as possible... no but seriously, how does a restaurant that serves meat that has changed color, food that smells manage to slip under the radar of hygiene controls? . You don't have to be a hygiene professional to see that what you're serving is disgusting. Move on if you don't want to catch a type of gastro that is still unknown to medicine... not to mention the price...
PS: Message to the boss, how dare you ask your customers if they have eaten well when you know what you serve is disgusting? Have some dignity and serious professionalism..
In short, to flee...

02/04/2024: The waitress was awesome!!! She was kind, polite and very helpful to two Americans (who could not speak French) on a business trip. This was the best meal I had for the week of my travels!
I had the beef steak with morels. I requested it be cooked medium-rare and it cam perfectly cooked. Great price for the food quality, excellent service and friendly waitress.

22/09/2023: Good address with homemade products. Just a small downside on the taste of the mushrooms which in our opinion are rehidrates, which is a shame given the season and the region.
But good, hearty plate and very tender meat.
I am very, very far from being an expert in mushrooms, on the other hand all cooking experts use fresh seasonal products when they are available and change the menu when they are no longer available.

The quantities were not there for our menu, but the most surprising thing remains the cheese: a supplement of €7 (!) per person for 3 small pieces of slightly dry cheese...

12/11/2023: We stopped at LA BOUGNATE and did not regret it! Before spending the night in a very quiet room we had dinner. The dishes served by the chef are a model of what French cuisine does best, the lentils with foie gras, the confit lamb and coconuts, the Auvergne cheeses and the homemade desserts are exquisite! They deserved a Verbena at the end! Health ! (and thank you for this moment...)
