10/09/2024: An incredible stay at Résidence Le Centaure, the apartments are great.
Special mention for the swimming pool and the wellness area, perfect for relaxing, too bad the hammam had some problems
In addition they accept animals but with a supplement.
I highly recommend this residence for a pleasant and relaxing stay.
08/09/2024: A fabulous stay, the team was really attentive to us, the reception, the pool reception and even the manager.
There were lots of activities for our children at the resort and the residence is really well located.
The fitness area is well stocked and I enjoyed it while the rest of the family had a blast at the pool.
In short, I recommend!

19/08/2024: Encore un excellent repas dans ce concept store incontournable sur Flaine !
Super menu enfant pour notre 8 ans croque monsieur maison accompagné d’un diabolo ( ou sirop) et une glace aux choix en dessert : bâtonnet oasis ou vanille/chocolat.
Pour nous, une salade César avec sa sauce maison ( le vrai bon goût de la salade César) bien copieuse et complète, une croziflette généreuse qui sent bon la Haute Savoie et des cannellonis de courgettes gourres ricotta et épinards ( plat veggie) … à tomber !
Après tout ça, impossible pour moi de prendre un dessert mais un café gourmand pour mon conjoint ( 3 vraies portions de dessert maison) et des profiteroles pour ma fille ( 4 choux maison et chocolat chaud maison).
Bref ! On s’est régalé avec des employés agréables et souriants en prime.

Great children's menu for our 8 year old homemade croque monsieur accompanied by a diabolo (or syrup) and a choice of ice cream for dessert: oasis stick or vanilla/chocolate.
For us, a Caesar salad with its homemade sauce (the real good taste of Caesar salad) very hearty and complete, a generous croziflette which smells of Haute Savoie and cannelloni of zucchini, ricotta and spinach (veggie dish)… to die for !
After all that, it's impossible for me to have dessert but a gourmet coffee for my partner (3 real portions of homemade dessert) and profiteroles for my daughter (4 homemade choux pastry and homemade hot chocolate).
Brief ! We had a great time with pleasant and smiling employees as a bonus.

24/09/2024: We took a weekendesk. Everything was perfect, quiet location, welcome, meals, sauna and hammam.
Small downside is that the offer says unlimited spa, but it should be clarified that the unlimited is from the moment you have your slot. We came at 4:30 p.m. to take advantage of this moment and in the end we only had access from 6 p.m.

Afterwards the room was not clean stains on the floor, chair on the balcony broken, room right next to reception and you can hear people coming and going, I think the rooms must not be well soundproofed finally, full of little details which are a bit preachy I find...😔

23/08/2024: Venu à notre arrivée dans la station nous avons goûté aux spécialités cela fut excellent . Et bien nous sommes retourner en soirée qui était fraîche la patronne nous a proposé à l intérieur si l on souhaitait patronne très attentionné et repas toujours excellent en changent de la dernière fois merci nous recommandons bien sur .

19/04/2025: We had a wonderful time skiing with my family down from Flaine at the end of March, visiting at least four times Auberge de Vernant. Gerard and his team made us feel incredibly welcome.
Our son particularly loved the place decorations featuring antique Savoyard tools. We also enjoyed exploring the various restaurants in Flaine and Grand Massif.
One of our favorite discoveries was the delicious chocolate with homemade whipped cream, which was not only tasty but also reasonably priced compared to other chalets in Flaine.
What truly impressed us was Gerard's hospitality - he gifted us exquisite New Zealand chocolates and even gave us a book about Flaine's history.
We're already looking forward to returning next season!

25/03/2025: The room and toilets of the hostel are closed, we were only allowed the terrace and self-service (not cheaper though).
We were shown the toilets at the chairlift, "because if we understood correctly, the fake one had already been emptied twice, (we want to make the tourist pay, but it shouldn't cost us!!!).
WE WILL NOT GO BACK!

24/02/2025: The most horrible experience we have ever encountered in this lovely town. The owner/gérant was very rude, the drinks were disgusting (sour beer, too old) and he was angry on us because we had to clean the table ourselves. We didn’t know. We were so surprised to clean the table that we talked about it at the reception … but he heard us and (cherry on the cake) he cancelled the booking we had at his restaurant a few days later … because we complained… when enquired why the reservation was cancelled the owner responded that he is "independent from Pierre & Vacances » and he can do whatever he wants 🤯 2 couples with 3 children.. very much not recommended !

29/10/2024: We had the chance to have lunch outside at midday. We enjoyed our pizzas and the goat cheese duo but the palm of gold goes to the snow eggs topped with homemade salted butter caramel. Fast, efficient and friendly service. See you tomorrow 😀

The coffee is absolutely undrinkable! Fortunately for them, very little competition!!

A nice wine list!
02/09/2024: There were 4 of us who visited you on a Sunday evening for the restaurant. The true definition of “Perfection”!! My idea of a dream place, impeccable service, unparalleled attention from Madame Armelle herself who is also an example of courage and passion for our beautiful profession: "hotels".
The meal was perfect: refined (yellowfin tuna for example) and traditional (raclette).
We thank you for this magical moment in a magical place. We want to come back and try the hotel rooms. You will soon hear my news.
I wish you a wonderful end to the summer season and see you soon.
