02/04/2024: Very good creperie! We were well received and the pancakes were very good. All we needed was one savory crepe to be completely satisfied! Family atmosphere and very quiet little restaurant. I recommend this creperie!

24/01/2024: Nous avons passé un séjour de 4 nuits dans cet hôtel avec la demi pension. La chambre est très bien et pareil pour la salle de bain. Une douche assez spacieuse. Les nuits ont été parfaite, on entend juste légèrement la douche des autres clients mais rien de bien grave ! Le petit déjeuner est très varier, sucrée/ salé. Les repas du soir on été un délice à chaque fois, c’est bien servit et très bon. L’hôtel dispose de casiers pour les ski ce qui est très pratique. Finissons par les maîtres de l’hôtel qui sont d’une forte gentillesse et amabilité. L’entretien de l’hôtel est fait avec amour et cela ce fait ressentir ! On s’y sent vraiment comme à la maison.. sauf en vacances ! Je recommande cet hôtel pour n’importe qui !

16/03/2024: Unbelievable to see people giving this establishment a rating of 1/5. After years of coming to Chatel we had never been to this restaurant, what a mistake we have made all this time, one of the best, see the best restaurant we have eaten in in Chatel. We had a fondue for 3 with charcuterie, the quantity of fondue was perfect, the charcuterie platter well presented, the service was great, the waitresses were very kind and smiling. In addition, the atmosphere and setting of the restaurant is great. Special mention to the dog who is so nice (and who doesn't bark contrary to what some people may say, and even if that were the case it wouldn't be the end of the world). When there is nothing to complain about it is 5/5. 😍

15/03/2024: We came for lunch during a ski day, on recommendation and we were not disappointed. The Caesar salad and wraps were plentiful and very good. The self-service mode is practical and offers a wide choice for all tastes. Prices are reasonable considering the location (compared to Avoriaz). The view of the mountains is very beautiful!

03/03/2024: The present assessment is only for the restaurant for lunch in winter, not for the hotel or for dinner. This is a self-service with a huge capacity, often crowded anyway. The dishes are more on the “usual fast-food” side (spaghetti, lasagnas, sausage & French fries) but you can also find a couple of salads if you want to eat healthy. But you will not find that many interesting surprises. The service is fast so you do not wait for too long usually (unless the queue goes up to outside, which I sometimes witness…). There is a bar area (inside) so if you want just a coffee you do not need to do the whole queue for the restaurant. The prices are adapted to the excellent location of the restaurant, meaning slightly overpriced even for the area.

11/03/2024: 1st random visit.... Welcome, atmosphere, cuisine, everything is exceptional, like Isabelle! Dishes made with real quality products and with Love!! Beautiful person, who gives everything she has so that we have a memorable time.... then 2nd visit the next day to taste HER unique Savoyard fondue..... Honestly, a visit to this restaurant is worth the detour. We will come back from our next stay in Châtel 😍😍

25/03/2024: Pleasant setting. On the other hand, you have to score a goal for your order to be taken! Order taken by a person who did not understand that one of the fundamentals of business is to be (a little) pleasant with customers. The icing on the potato is that the house does not accept credit cards! Connection problem, it seems! Transfers, on the other hand, work! (I don't know where it's going, but it's okay!). Last thing, check your bill carefully, you could be relieved of a few extra Euros. We will not return to the Margoulinos house!

24/03/2024: Too cute, too pretty and so typical of the mountains... super friendly welcome... and yet it's March... end of season, they could all be tired. Well no! It’s super welcoming!

29/03/2024: There are other restaurants nearby that are certainly better. No service I don't mind being in a mountain restaurant but we are very far from a self-service price. 25 ml beer but in a glass where I wonder if it has the capacity. Keep a close eye on your consumption bill

16/03/2024: Very good mountain restaurant with a view of the slopes. Burger Mac baby and Mac Jojo very good. Delicious homemade pie! And all that with the sun is great!

15/03/2024: We had lunch with 6 adults two days in a row during our stay in Châtel where we skied all day. We really liked these stops on the terrace as well as indoors, with appreciable cuisine, a friendly and friendly welcome, all in a sunny setting facing the slopes. Thank you for these exquisite moments!

14/03/2024: Sunny terrace with deckchairs. And especially the “yurt” Bar heated with a pellet stove, very nice in case of bad weather! (excellent idea) Which makes it easier to digest the note 😜 Two young waiters who were friendly and open to discussion. 👍 Small downside... challenges to overcome, go and order your drinks in ski boots and come back with them without any damage.... a bit average level of service for the price...

28/03/2024: Canteen style food not great, it's slow but we're not enjoying it. The prices are acceptable for the level of food. The agents are nice, nothing more. For a quick lunch it's OK but don't expect great gastronomy.

24/03/2024: Good, unpretentious mountain restaurant with a choice that remains limited but good value for money for a resort restaurant. There should be more diversity with more balanced dishes (choice of accompaniment too limited for fries). Otherwise, nice terrace with a view of the slopes and friendly waiters.

20/03/2024: Good morning, Completely soggy pizza (see pfotos), But hey no worries, apparently it’s our fault because “you have to eat them right away”. We add to that an order error (it can happen, no problem), but no excuse and we are accused of lying. 2 stars anyway for the service because they agreed to make the pizza again for us, this time adding even more water. PS: If you're looking for something to quench your thirst for the modest sum of €17, I advise you to pick up a queen off-piste. (Certainly the quality of mushrooms which must release a lot of water?) It’s ciao
