31/08/2024: A very good time, excellent cuisine, pleasant service, with a small downside with very noisy or even too noisy table neighbors but this is independent of the staff.

22/03/2024: Superb place, very beautiful and very well located, this hotel is perfect for a stay in Les Contamines. Breakfast is very good, lots of choice. Thank you again for your welcome and your kindness. We will come back.
25/02/2024: Stayed for a week for our ski trip and absolutely loved it. Family chose the hotel for nostalgic reasons and I’d love to come back for when we have little ones to complete tradition. The host and hostess were very friendly and compliments to the chef for the very nice meals we had during our stay. The rooms were lovely and cosy and the ambience fits an alpine lodge, absolutely perfect. The views out the window were fantastic and magical. The living room was also a nice place to hang around where you can order drinks from the bar or some nibbles. Overall, an amazing stay and planning to come back hopefully next ski season ⛷️ ❤️

02/09/2024: Very good experience for our night at the Refuge with half board. Smiling and efficient welcome from Lisa, copious and excellent meals (the pancakes for breakfast, what a luxury!!) and completely honorable room.
30/08/2024: Refuge taken under the TMB. Very cute, far from the big tourist shelters that we encountered on this tour. An incredible view of Mont Blanc. Impeccable service and very generous meals.
I recommend without hesitation

26/08/2024: Address not to be missed, quality homemade dishes with local products very well served, we had a great time, plus the staff is adorable and with the animals too, very good place to discover, see you soon 😊
25/08/2024: Mixed reception because we were shown the table without accompanying us. Good at the limit.
A menu that is not separable is all or nothing. Well why not.
A card without entry. Well, okay.
An aperitif with nothing. Well ok but why at a table only one lady had peanuts?
Afterwards what we ate was good but it's not haute cuisine either: a pile of salad to make it big, slices of various cold meats and a dish of melted cheese.
The chocolate fondue was good too but same comment as for the top.
So finally I was on the bench with the cushions and what discomfort.
Ah and the end for my picky teenager we ask to double the children's menu... The price has indeed been doubled, for the food I have doubts because 3 nuggets divided by two is not right...
In short, doubtful....

We have been there several times already and each time we ate very well. Mountain burger which is a treat. Top children's menu too. The plates are generous.
Our waitress is super friendly, smiling. Friendly bosses too.
We will come back regularly.

31/08/2024: Nous avons fêté l’anniversaire de mon mari là-bas car le coin est très joli et qu’il y a bcp d’activités. Nous avons passé une superbe journée ! Le restaurant est très agréable, on y mange vraiment bien, et les gérants se plient en quatre pour vous faire plaisir. Ils sont très gentils, à l’écoute et très professionnels. Je recommande vivement l’endroit !!! 😃👍🏻

13/08/2024: We were very well received. The manager was alone in charge of the service and the kitchen, there were few people and we were served very quickly. The dishes are plentiful and very good. Homemade ice cream for dessert… and it’s the real recipe for Liège chocolate/coffee! A delight 😋

01/09/2024: Je suis profondément déçue par ma récente visite dans cette restaurant. Dès notre arrivée, le service s'est montré très peu accueillant et clairement désintéressé. Le personnel ne nous a même pas proposé le menu du jour, ce qui est pourtant une pratique courante dans les restaurants en France.
Ce qui est encore plus choquant, c'est la différence flagrante dans le traitement réservé aux clients en fonction de leur nationalité. Nous avons été traités de manière très désagréable et comme des clients de second rang, simplement parce que nous ne sommes pas Français. Voir le personnel être amical et attentif envers les autres tables, composées uniquement de Français, alors qu'on nous ignorait presque, était extrêmement blessant.
De plus, j'ai été scandalisée de voir une mention dans le menu indiquant un supplément de 12 euros pour le partage d'un plat. Cela me semble non seulement abusif, mais probablement illégal. C'est un comportement que je n'avais jamais rencontré auparavant dans mes nombreuses visites de restaurants à travers le pays.
Face à un tel accueil et à ces pratiques douteuses, nous avons pris la décision de quitter les lieux avant même de passer commande. C’est vraiment dommage, car nous étions impatients de découvrir les plats proposés. Cette expérience a été particulièrement désagréable, et je ne recommande absolument pas cet établissement.

The very nice server (well done also to the server).
14/08/2024: Very pleasant and attentive server. Unlike the boss who could use some courtesy lessons. Very disappointing pancake and prepared only with industrial products. We had good memories of this restaurant, memories which were put to the test severely. I strongly advise against it, unless you want to have a deplorable welcome from the boss and a stomach ache for your week of vacation.

14/09/2024: A ski domain snack bar/restaurant above a picnic room/bar (not open in summer) offering a selection of very tasty food. The service can be great... just not consistent.
15/07/2024: Our favorite little place for a gourmet meal after a good hike: revisited dishes for those who are a little tired of eternal salads with hot goat cheese, everything is fresh, prepared on site and served with a smile. We love their goat's heart falafel salad, but there are also traditional ones for fans and good homemade desserts. Thank you, Remi!
