26/08/2026: Arriving at 8:30 pm one summer evening, we politely asked for a crêpe for dessert. We were told it wouldn't be possible because they don't make crêpes in the summer (despite the sign on the storefront indicating they do). All this while being judged and looked down upon, even though tourism is what sustains the village. A shame.

22/08/2026: A mixed experience at La Bérangère for the last restaurant of our stay, after a fantastic experience at another restaurant in the resort earlier in the week. We appreciated the attentive service of the two young waiters and the warm welcome for our group of eight. The biggest disappointment was the food, with portions that were truly tiny for a mountain restaurant. My 10-year-old son ordered the roasted Camembert, and the cheese looked more like Rocamadour than Camembert! Children's menus are sometimes more generous. I ordered fondue served with salad and an extra portion of charcuterie. The result: three small leaves and five or six small slices of sausage, ham, and other cured meats. And a rather bland taste. Probably a lot of Emmental and not enough Beaufort or Comté. My companion and I finished the fondue with a few pieces of bread. Ladies and gentlemen in the kitchen, please be more generous with the portions!

13/06/2026: A cute cabin in the mountains right next to Col de Joly, which is a stunning view point. The food was simple compared to other cabins, but they took into account our personal food preferences. The owners helped us find a solution to a hiking problem that we had to face the day after our overnight stay due to snow, and ended up giving us a ride to the nearby village because we couldn't find a solution. The shower and toilet are connected to the bedroom, which helped when it rained, but the equipment room is separate from the bedroom, which makes it difficult to bring equipment, especially since the equipment room is locked at night. There are 2 shower cubicles and one toilet cubicle inside one of them, and it's a shame to use the wifi, which is only used for the credit card payment system, and it's a shame there's no cell phone reception. The view is stunning

23/07/2026: I came looking for a Savoyard dish and I left with a full stomach. The meal used only local products and it was well worth the wait. I recommend it!

12/07/2026: Our favorite little spot for a delicious meal after a good hike. Everything is fresh, prepared on-site, and served with a smile. We love the falafel salad and the gourmet salad. They also have excellent homemade desserts. Thank you to the team!
