14/05/2024: A warm welcome in this little, somewhat hidden restaurant. It would be a shame not to stop there! We only had to have one drink, and we went with the menu, without regrets! Former star chef and great knowledge of wines to enhance the dishes you taste!

02/11/2023: This is the mountain house on TMB Road. The dormitories of this shelter are on the second floor, which is very special. First of all, the doors on the first and second floors are horizontal. The dormitories are all made of wood, with bunk beds. There are about 20 beds in total. To get to the upper bunk bed, you have to move the stairs yourself, which is full of childlike fun. It's also a bit thrilling. This former barn converted shelter is very special. I was bitten by bed bugs when I slept without my own sleeping bag due to the heat, but I still appreciate this special shelter. The toilets and bathrooms are very small. The first floor is the restaurant, which also has a nostalgic design. I have several rabbits. Dinner was not to my taste, both dishes had millet and tasted a bit horrible, but there are many non-residents who come to eat in this restaurant. I suggest this shelter treat our hikers well and cook delicious dinners. Breakfast is very ordinary, takeaway meals are good.

26/09/2023: I had the opportunity to dine at the inn this Saturday during a visit to friends in Les Contas... what a surprise, a very friendly welcome and above all good seasonal cuisine I highly recommend this warm atmosphere

28/03/2024: I'm writing a review in English because I think it will benefit tourists coming off the train at the station close by. If you're starving and just want a burger and a pint, this is the place to go. We were looking for that today and La Pause was just perfect for what we needed. It's a very typical alpine French bistro. Lovely atmosphere, obviously a popular place with the local people, and very welcoming. Excellent service from attentive staff, good food and a warm welcome. Highly recommended for a quick stop and a touch of real french hospitality. Also it's open when most restaurants have stopped serving food, so very convenient! The fries cooked in beef fat were particularly unhealthy and lovely 😍

25/02/2024: Very disappointed with the pastries. A “bear pastry” sold for double the price of a pain au chocolat, but nothing more inside. The worst remains the “praline” brioche and this is a bit of a mockery of the customers… See the photos… nothing else to say, just look to understand the scam

03/03/2024: Ideal location at the foot of the slopes, modern and spacious rooms. The staff is very pleasant, very friendly and caring. A very nice culinary experience for those who take half board. We will come back even if the prices are high because we have a very pleasant stay each time.
