We thoroughly enjoyed the bistro menu. The quality and quantity were both excellent.
The owner is lovely and comes to chat with his customers.
A special mention for his dog!
A restaurant you absolutely must visit!

25/12/2025: Christmas lunch organized with work, a truly wonderful experience. The vegetarian menu was excellent, with a special mention for the risotto, which was absolutely delicious. The welcome was warm and attentive. A place I highly recommend and where I will definitely return 😊

29/01/2026: Exceptional cuisine and impeccable service. The two staff members complement each other perfectly. The meal was delicious, and they were accommodating by offering alternative dishes. Very affordable, especially considering the quality of the food. The setting is beautiful and relaxing. The dining room was very quiet. I would gladly return if I'm ever in the area again.

The set menu was affordable, the food simple yet delicious.
And what can I say about the two waitresses? They complemented each other perfectly—attentive without being intrusive, and friendly without being overbearing.
Fantastic! We'll gladly return.

04/10/2025: I recommend this hotel, located in the heart of Saint Junien, opposite a beautiful fountain.
It has its own parking lot with electric charging stations.
There is also a very large municipal parking lot right across the street if needed.
The evening meal was perfect: plentiful, complete, and delicious. I highly recommend the restaurant.
The service is excellent, and the staff are always smiling.
For breakfast, the savory portion isn't very extensive, but you'll still have enough to start the day off right.
The bedding is comfortable, and the room had everything you need.
The TV is a little small, but that's just a minor detail.
The soundproofing isn't perfect, but it's fine for one night.
The room is perfectly clean.

The hotel was almost recently renovated.
I recommend it for your travels.
Very good value for money for a one-night stay.

31/12/2025: To begin with, the service wasn't great.
It was freezing cold in the dining room, but we were served fairly quickly. There were no sauce options for the fries, which were supposed to be 15 in total. The burgers were good but barely lukewarm (the cheese wasn't even melted).
We ended up going to Burger King anyway because we were all still hungry.
We should have started there, even though I'm not a fan of these fast-food chains.

19/09/2024: This was always my favourite restaurant, I have been going there for 20 years. I went there a few weeks ago and was so disappointed, the management have changed hand and the meal was not good, in fact I should have complained but being English didn't like to. I hope this was just teething problems and it will improve, The bread was already on the table when we sat down I asked the waitress for butter and she asked why. Will not be returning. The wine was nice. I do not like giving bad reviews but this just has to be said.

22/06/2024: Excessive and not very transparent prices! The chocolates are priced at €90/kg (an already high price) but we were charged more than €30 for the 250g box instead of €22.50. Added to these questionable practices are the unpleasant responses from the saleswoman. This is the last time we visit this address with its largely overrated reputation.
20/06/2024: Superb patisserie on the main street. Tea room with a few tables inside and an outdoor terrace on sunny days.
Delicious and numerous cakes and pastries, very good hot drinks including an excellent thick and tasty hot chocolate. From the choice and originality, we feel that the pastry chef is at the same time passionate, inspired and gifted; a true artist!
A temple of gluttony!
