The waitress (sorry, I don't know her name) was very professional and attentive throughout our lunch! I recommend this place without hesitation!!! Florence

21/06/2026: What a wonderful time we had at this restaurant on Rue Defaye! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal from start to finish. The doughnuts were perfectly crispy and served with a delicious sauce. The main course was just as tasty, with elegant presentation and fresh ingredients. The meal ended perfectly with an ice cream sundae generously topped with whipped cream. A must-visit in Saint-Junien for a truly memorable experience.

06/05/2026: Pleasant music at a reasonable volume, a friendly and smiling waitress, and delicious food. Everything you need for a great time at a very reasonable price.

17/05/2026: This modest sized restaurant feels very spacious inside due to the unusual white pine panelling. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and the ambience is relaxed. I started with the duo of foie gras de canard which was excellent! Two pieces were chilled slices and two pieces were grilled “crème brulée” with a layer of sugar on top. Most creative as the cooked foie gras becomes the ‘cream’ - brilliant! My main course was veal kidneys (always a treat in France as you never see them on the menu in England) in garlic and parsley butter. Also very good, though slightly spoiled by the fact that the garde manger forgot to wash the lettuce (lots of gravel crunching - not good). The bread here is fantastic! Everything I visit France for. Dessert was a novel take on tiramisu involving crème chantilly, apples and pineau des Charentes in place of coffee and Marsala. Not really a success, but a noble failure.
