15/03/2026: I met with Chef Jean-François Bury last November. This big-hearted chef had agreed to participate in Ça va cheffer, a charity event organized in Roissy-en-France to benefit the Téléthon. In its latest edition, this wonderful initiative brought together 180 participants, 14 chefs, and 14 sous-chefs, raising €5,710 for the association.
But let's get back to the main point.
Since November 2025, my wife, my son, and I had promised ourselves we would come and discover this famous Cabane… and the wait was more than worth it.
“La Cabane” lives up to its name perfectly: you immediately feel at home. The atmosphere is bucolic, warm, almost like a timeless gourmet haven. The service is delightful: attentive without being intrusive, caring, and genuinely friendly. A small detail that makes all the difference: after offering us a taste of one wine, they suggested we try another… a thoughtful touch that has become so rare these days. The cocktails arrive: precise, balanced, and perfectly executed. The evening begins under the best of auspices.
A delicate amuse-bouche sets the stage before the appetizers.
I choose the ginger-lemongrass pho broth with beef and rice noodles. From the first whiff, the aromas transport us to another world. On the palate, there is no disappointment: it's a true journey. The flavors unfold with harmony and depth.
My wife opts for the perfectly cooked organic egg, accompanied by delicately textured spring white asparagus, artichoke, and semi-cooked foie gras. A perfectly executed dish.
Then come the main courses.
The sole of the day is presented to us just after cooking, before being filleted. A remarkably simple preparation that allows the fish to shine. It is accompanied by a smoked purée (whose origin I unfortunately couldn't identify), but whose subtlety perfectly complements the fish. Sincere cuisine that elevates truly beautiful ingredients. My son chose the Galician sirloin steak. According to him, it's a must-try… and even a real showstopper.
The chef then treated us to a thoughtful touch: a complimentary pre-dessert. Here, you can feel the generosity and desire to please that characterize this establishment.
The meal concluded with a pear and 75% chocolate velvet dessert with Chantilly cream and caramelized almonds, as well as two lemon-pineapple "hedgehog" tarts accompanied by crunchy meringues and a lime-coriander sorbet.
Special mention goes to the tart: its perfectly balanced acidity and freshness, enhanced by the sorbet, particularly won over my son and me.
In short: a moment of pleasure, generosity, and sincerity. Don't hesitate to come and enjoy this magnificent Cabane.

I returned (on Saturday, April 18, 2026) around 8 pm with a longtime friend for dinner near our home in Rueil-Malmaison. I can't give you the 5 stars you deserve for the food because there are far too many flaws regarding the service and atmosphere, and I'll go into detail, no worries! The food was excellent after the renovation and reopening in October of last year (2025), the quality of the food is undeniable! But the price increase is outrageous! A 60% increase for an all-you-can-eat menu—the staff should be informed! Before, the lunch menu was €14.99 and the dinner menu was €19.99, almost €20, and now the dinner menu is €32. What's with this massive price hike? The classic Virgin Mojito is a rip-off. They just throw in a mint leaf, a measly little lemon, and some 7ven Up Mojito, thinking it's a real Virgin Mojito (a non-alcoholic cocktail) because you can still taste the 7ven Up. They charge customers €5.30—it's a complete rip-off! As for the atmosphere and service, it's far too noisy because it's crowded and the tables are all crammed together. It's impossible to have any peace and quiet without the servers constantly clearing and bringing back the dishes. It's absolutely unbearable! It made you not want to talk, let alone eat, period! The dishes arrive haphazardly, and sometimes they're incomplete. Oh yes, always check your receipt when you pay and ask for it every time to avoid surprises. I won't be back anytime soon, not even for a long time, because I'm very disappointed with how it's turned out! Avoid this place because you have to eat your fill to pay the price they are offering today, since individual dishes no longer exist.

06/04/2026: Our experience was very negative. We ordered an assortment of fried foods (very greasy) and unlimited mussels.
The first serving of mussels was very poor; they were so overcooked they tasted like cardboard. The second serving was better cooked after we asked for them to be. It's an experience we won't repeat.

20/04/2026: The best pizza in the Île-de-France region! I've been to many places in Paris, and the pizza here is truly the best! The owner and his charming accent make you feel like you're in Milan. The spritz cookies are incredible, not just colorful. The desserts are also very tasty! You absolutely must try them, especially the panna cotta.

In short, this restaurant is fantastic. I regularly order from them and I've never been disappointed.
27/03/2026: Loyal customers, but this time we were very disappointed with the buffet. We arrived around 8 pm and the buffet was almost empty.
There was a complete lack of respect shown to us. We even asked for more items because there was so little in the containers, and to add insult to injury, they added three pieces of what we asked for to the empty container, even though there were more of us.
The dessert selection was almost empty, the sushi consisted of only a few pieces, some of which were empty, and we even had to scrape the dipping sauce from the container. The skewers were empty, and there were barely a few spoonfuls of rice. The salmon was ridiculously thin.
We come for an all-you-can-eat buffet, we paid for it, and you disrespect us by leaving a half-empty buffet. Despite our requests for certain items, you barely added any. Your customers are the ones who keep your business going; you owe them a minimum of respect.
I was a loyal customer, but once I'm disappointed, I don't forgive and I won't be back. There's no shortage of Asian buffet restaurants; we'll go elsewhere.
