23/08/2026: Absolutely fantastic! The decor, atmosphere, service, and food are all top-notch, even the children's menu is excellent.
The dishes have unique flavors, and the desserts are incredibly generous, a rare find these days.
A place to discover and rediscover, and at a very reasonable price.
22/08/2026: Having come from Paris with my family, we were really looking forward to finding a good place to enjoy a delicious meal and a pleasant evening. Unfortunately, the welcome completely ruined the start of our night.
From the moment we walked in:
• No smiles, no warmth.
• A curt, almost whispered "good evening."
• An impression of forced hospitality, as if our presence was inconvenient.
When you've traveled a long way, you expect at least a simple and sincere welcome. Here, we felt rushed out the moment we arrived.
It's a shame, because the place had potential—but the attitude at the entrance immediately sets the tone.

23/08/2026: We were craving moules frites (mussels and fries), and it was the only restaurant on the port that offered them. We ordered mussels with Bleu d'Auvergne cheese. We were very disappointed; the mussels weren't properly shelled and were small, in large shells. The sauce was bland, and we couldn't taste the Bleu cheese at all. However, the desserts were excellent and beautifully presented. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. One small drawback: we had to fight off wasps throughout the entire meal.

22/08/2026: Having been a regular at the New Orleans, we wanted a change, so I ordered a piña colada (which was listed under non-alcoholic cocktails). I don't drink alcohol, so I only looked at the non-alcoholic options. Once it was served, I realized it contained alcohol. I told the waiter there must have been a mistake, that I might have been wrong, but that there shouldn't be any alcohol in it. I got yelled at because it was my responsibility to specify non-alcoholic. I apologized and asked for a replacement, even if it meant paying for it myself, but he offered no compensation whatsoever. Furthermore, I ordered a platter and asked if it was for two people. He said yes, but it was €18 for a platter that was definitely not enough for two people. The service was unpleasant and the price quite high. I'll stick with my first choice, the New Orleans…

16/08/2026: A very good restaurant, visited at lunchtime, drawn in by a menu that immediately reveals a real dedication to the kitchen. The wine recommendation was spot-on and paired beautifully with the dishes. Special mention goes to the gratinated oysters (a good size, creamy leek sauce that wasn't cloying), the monkfish (fish of the day), and the stuffed squid (fish stuffing, herbs, and bread) with a rich, flavorful sauce and perfectly cooked, delicious seasonal vegetables. We didn't have room for dessert as the portions (à la carte dishes) were quite generous. Thank you!

It changes on the 10th of each month, they say...rare in a gas station... The service was perfect: you feel relaxed...no rush to vacate your table...also quite rare in a gas station.
In short, highly recommended!

25/07/2026: We are regulars as we live in Marseillan, Thursday evening for the second time we were very disappointed with the ice creams and especially the 2 peach Melba the cups were half empty the decoration of the ice cream shabby we were looking for the peach, very disappointing.

a) Music
b) Homemade crepes
The bad points:
a) FYI, there's an extra 0.50 cent charge per drink after 8:30 PM.
b) Service not as good as at the Neptune.
c) Milkshakes not fresh enough, not blended enough.
d) Frozen waffles

03/09/2026: Great local bar, friendly host, decent wines, good beer. If I lived here it'd be my local.
Edit: back 2(?) yrs later and as good. Will be trying food this time as I will be visiting many times over the next two weeks.
01/09/2026: We spontaneously decided to have lunch and were lucky enough to get a table. Locals, in particular, seem to frequent the restaurant. The food is freshly prepared, and there are various seasonal specials. The plates are beautifully presented, and the food tastes as good as it looks. At 1 p.m., after the market, the restaurant was completely full. Despite this, the staff were friendly and helpful.
We highly recommend it.

So many surprises await at this beautiful table...The service is impeccable...this restaurant is a true gem!

16/05/2026: A wonderful discovery! On a day when the wind completely prevented us from having lunch outside, we stepped inside this restaurant. The atmosphere is refined and pleasant, with piano music playing softly in the background.
The service is attentive and discreet.
From the bluefin tuna tartare with its delicately grilled tentacles to the selection of fine cheeses and the citrus lemon tart—everything is delicious! A truly delightful experience.

31/07/2026: Let’s start with the positive point: the gastronomy. The food was excellent, we had very tasty sardines with chips cooked in duck oil, the “meal of the day”: roasted courgettes, rice with safran, yummy bacon and perfectly cooked egg, a platter with charcuterie, local cheese. All was tasteful, with local products, original, warm with tapas’ style.
However, the service was not great: the owner took a while to come and take our orders and when we asked a question about the menu, we were given a sarcastic reply with a short “funny” answer (“Well, you required me to come to order and you’re still indecisive on your orders so you are not ready yet” before leaving our table while we were ready to order). We had the feeling that we were always bothering him. Not a pleasant experience in terms of customer service, really.
Despite the very good cuisine, we will not come back because of the owner’s cocky and arrogant attitude.
29/07/2026: Mr. Norbert wrote that tourists are treated rudely. I can't confirm that. I was always treated very well, and the food was consistently excellent. We'll be back in three weeks and are already looking forward to this beautiful place.
