Good restaurant on the port of Marseille. Pleasant setting and nice decoration. The quality of the products seems to be very good.

Very nice restaurant, we went there one afternoon. Intimate setting, attentive waitress, and delicious food! It was perfect!

We knew. We returned with confidence for the Valentine's Day meal. Everything was perfect (menu, cuisine, service, atmosphere) and a special thank you to the owners and the waitress who was extremely friendly and professional.

The restaurant Le Château du port is located in a majestic building dating from 1870, the last witness to the golden age of wine trading in Marseillan by the Jean Voisin establishments. Around the cellars built on land reclaimed from the pond, the sumptuous emblematic building seems to taunt the rival Noilly-Prat brand for occupying the right part of the port. Jean Voisin then makes an aperitif called Le Mignon, named after his wife Jeanne. The restaurant and the hotel were created a century later in the 70s. It was then the restaurant of the only hotel in the village. The hotel disappeared in the early 2000s, but the restaurant remains and for 10 years Patrick and Jasmine Remy have made this address one of the best restaurants in the town. Originally from Ostend and Bruges in Belgium, the couple discovered Marseillan during their vacation fifteen years ago. “We arrived for a week and stayed for fifteen days! Under the charm of the town, we only thought of one thing: coming back to live there. On April 5, 2014, we made our dream come true by seizing the opportunity to acquire the restaurant of the Château du port." a terrace overlooking the port and an interior decoration of the most beautiful effect. Chef Patrick Remy is a fan of modern gastronomy advocated by master chef Auguste Escoffier. Its oysters cooked and gratinated with Noilly are a recognized specialty, just like its crispy sautéed sweetbreads or its homemade foie gras. Fresh products, catch of the day and a commitment to working with local oyster farmers and wine growers. Over the years, the restaurant has built a loyal clientele including foreign and local tourists. A beautiful and noble address, this Château du Port!

Excellent restaurant: The setting is magnificent, the warm atmosphere, the incredible service and the tasty and beautifully presented cuisine ❤️ A thought for Jasmine who took great care and had lovely attention to our daughter. We had a great time and we will return with great pleasure! Thanks to the chef for the quality of the products and the creativity in his dishes, it was really excellent 👌

Always super fun and delicious food...the oysters gratinée are the specialty...super tasty, the Coquilles St Jacques with pastis 👍🏼👍🏼 also great, everything was tasty. An address to go to!!!!

Repas du premier janvier succulent, servi avec humour et professionnalisme. C'était ma première expérience dans ce restaurant et ce ne sera pas la dernière. Bravo et merci pour cet agréable moment.
