18/12/2025: Had a pre christmas lunch here with colleagues. My menu was vegetarian. For the entre, i had a veg soup which was fantastic. Cheesy, creamy with cauliflowers and potatoes. Absolutely delicious. The main course was a bit of a let down as they didnt have any veg dishes but they made a mixed vegetable dish. The dish was presented nicely but it wasn’t something i would expect at a too restaurant. Others who had non veg dishes, their dishes was very good looking and beautifully presented. So not a restaurant issue but more of an issue with french restaurants who dont have a lot of veg dishes. For the dessert, i had a christmas log cake. Chocolaty and crunchy. Very nice. For a 3 course meal @ €25, its a great visit.

27/11/2025: A beautiful spot in the heart of Caen, right next to the castle. The food was beautifully presented and delicious. The staff knew their menu and were very friendly. I highly recommend it.

09/12/2025: Between November and December 2025, the new menu appeared! Yay! Still a hefty price tag for an increasingly light meal; dessert is no longer included. Thanks, Maurice, for so cleverly keeping us slim while simultaneously lightening our wallets. For my (meager) part, that's it, have a good trip 😘

30/10/2025: I ordered a pepper and Emmental burger for lunch today. To my dismay, I didn't receive my fries in the bag, and when I tasted my burger, it was cold and not rare, but medium-rare. I had to wait 23 minutes to be served. This isn't the first time this has happened.

11/12/2025: I came a few months ago and the service was truly appalling; this time it was the same. No smiles and the politeness left much to be desired. I don't understand how the team wasn't better briefed, given all the negative feedback regarding their friendliness and customer service. I think a serious review of their approach would be beneficial.

08/12/2025: When we arrived, there were no more potatoes (which I can understand, but it wasn't even 9 pm...). It's a shame, because because of this, we had to pay more by buying them individually. And why? No menu was available because of this shortage. We'll remember to go directly to the counter next time (if there is one...) to ask for a discount. Oh! Speaking of which, many of the sauces were also unavailable. What a shame. Now, let's talk about the food. The tenders were good, no complaints there, and thankfully so, because that's why we came. However, my daughter's burgers weren't very generous. A tiny piece of tender fighting for space with a minuscule slice of cheddar... could be better. My brother-in-law, on the other hand, ended up with a rather... unusual burger. A slice of cheddar decided to make a run for it and live its best life ON THE BUN, I tell you. My sister, on the other hand, ended up with ice cream with a stale topping. And my wife got a random topping that didn't match what she'd ordered. What's more, she didn't get her drink right away when it was finally served, which forced her to get up again. The service was reasonably adequate, but the staff could be a bit more cheerful. I understand that a potato shortage can be disheartening, but even the smallest smile is nice. In fact, the place was rather sad. Almost deserted. I can't wait for the potatoes to come back.

27/08/2024: Chicken with maroilles not cooked, staff unpleasant and slow. I don't recommend going there at lunchtime at all if you are limited on time. We also came there in the evening for a drink with colleagues and were disappointed with the service, the waiter didn't pay attention to what we asked, my drink didn't match.

02/02/2026: The manager, with his short hair and shaved eyebrows, was absolutely lovely. The McDonald's team is super cool.

16/09/2024: OK but could do better McDonald's remains a safe bet for a quick meal, but on my last visit, the experience was rather mixed. The burgers are always good, but there is sometimes a lack of care in the preparation: the sandwiches were a little too warm and less tasty than usual. Price-wise, it's reasonable, but compared to certain promotional offers that can be found elsewhere, McDonald's could be a little more competitive. I always appreciate the wide selection of desserts and drinks, but the wait times were a bit long, even outside of peak hours. In summary, a decent experience, but there are areas for improvement, particularly in terms of quality of service and speed.

21/06/2025: The saleswoman was very unfriendly, not at all smiling, you feel like you're bothering her. This happened both times I went there. Too bad because the pastries are very good.
