06/02/2026: Order 4091, dated February 6, 2026, around 8:20 PM. I ordered a "Maxi Best Of" meal with a double meat "Big Tasty" (approximately €15). I got home and, to my surprise, received only a single steak. Unfortunate considering the price. It's impossible to contact the restaurant by phone, and I'm not going to drive 15 minutes back (making it a 30-minute round trip).

04/02/2026: Thanks to the manager for lending us jumper cables; without his help, we would have been stuck in the parking lot most of the night! The service was very quick, and everything was hot and delicious. We'll be back!

23/07/2025: Restaurant in the former St. Michel prison Impeccable service with lots of humor and smiles. The dishes were truly excellent. We didn't try dessert, but we certainly wanted one!

02/12/2025: I love this bar/restaurant; it's quite an authentic place, and the staff are always very friendly. You can get some work done, have a coffee or a glass of wine by yourself, read... there's never a rush. It's simple and welcoming, and you feel very comfortable there.

01/03/2026: I was so happy with our visit to La Paix restaurant. The welcome, the service, the atmosphere—everything was top-notch, and the menu and prices were affordable. The young man who served us, named Brice, was both friendly and professional. Bravo and thank you to him! His warm welcome and potential have made me and my friends want to come back again and again. And a big thank you to the whole team—you're the best!

07/03/2026: Despite a nice setting, one of the waitresses was frankly unpleasant. The crepes were good, even if they were a bit lacking in filling. There's no doubt you can find better for less money in Rennes. PS: It's "carte bancaire" (bank card), not "carte banquaire" (bank card).

07/02/2026: Honestly disappointed. The person who brought my order was incredibly rude, completely impolite, not even a goodbye. The atmosphere was really unpleasant; I felt like I was bothering them. Not great at all.

17/02/2026: I've been to the place several times and it's always been a good experience in terms of atmosphere, decor, and music. The only downside is that I don't drink alcohol, and apparently, there's a problem with people who don't drink alcohol. I ordered a Coke Zero, and it was served directly into a glass, which is unusual. When I tasted it, it tasted like old Coke, at least a week old, flat, and not chilled. I even thought he'd made a mistake and that I'd gotten a Coke Cherry. I went to the bar to ask if it was the right Coke I'd ordered. The waiter, quite pleased with himself, waved a small plastic bottle with a flat bottom of Coke in my face, saying, "You're the one who's mistaken, madam, because this is your Coke." Then he put it back on the bar with the other (plastic) soft drink bottles that weren't chilled. I wonder how long those bottles had been waiting to be drunk, given the lack of bubbles in my glass. So I couldn't finish my drink and left empty-handed.

30/11/2025: We love it, a must-visit every time we're in Rennes. Everything is excellent, with delicious vegan options. The service is fantastic! A great time every time.

14/01/2026: I'm a regular at this restaurant, where the daily set menu (main course/dessert) is always excellent. The service is very efficient, perfect for a lunch break. I highly recommend it.

22/02/2026: My daughter and her two friends went to La Lupa at the beginning of February. They ordered a burrata pizza, a salmon pizza, and lasagna. For dessert, they had chocolate mousse, ice cream, and apple tart. As soon as they left the restaurant, they had stomach aches and felt nauseous. They thought they had eaten too much, but all three of them got diarrhea. For my daughter's two friends, it cleared up after two days, but for my daughter, it lasted five days with stomach pain and diarrhea. She had to get tested, and it turned out she had salmonella! Twelve days later, she still has stomach pain despite taking antibiotics. If she's still in pain in a week, she'll have to see a gastroenterologist. I posted this comment on Instagram, and the owner removed it immediately! He called me right after to tell me everything was fine on his end and that I should come eat there myself to see for myself. No thanks! La Lupa, a big MISS OUT 🤢🤮
