31/08/2024: Oubli d’une tranche d’orange dans la martini rouge chose qui relève de l’impossible. Pas de corbeille à pain à disposition obligé de redemander 3 fois le pain, je sais que les gens aime ma voix mais je préfère la réserver pour mes concerts sous la douche. Repas bon mais pas excellent, café gourmand qui relèverait plus du café néant. Cordialement

18/08/2024: Hello to you who read this! I went there with my best friend to try it and damn, we weren't disappointed. If you like boards, bread and nice atmospheres, this is the place for you. First of all, the principle is nice: make your own board. And it's when you see the choice available that you tell yourself that you're going to have to do some cardio to eliminate all that. A dozen cheeses, as many cold cuts, selections of the moment, spreads, vegetables (to make it look like we eat healthy😁). There are also ready-made boards, if you don't want to worry. The decor is very nice, with lots of nice frames. We gave up on the choice and... we couldn't finish. Luckily, they offer doggy bags because it would be a crime to ruin that. Special mention for the country terrine which sends out some paté😁 No, seriously, very nice. We will come back but this time, we will be reasonable. That said, the place is not very big so if you want to go there, remember to book, it costs nothing and it is possible to do that from their website.

17/12/2024: No experience in this restaurant: 10 minutes we wait outside in 7ºC. A sign tells us that the restaurant is open, but asks us to wait outside, without tapping on the window to warn of our presence, someone will come and welcome us. Result ? No reception, no service. We won't try the experience again, even in better weather, after all many other restaurants in Rennes are really welcoming!

13/12/2024: Rather expensive restaurant lukewarm main course we had a gift card with a special menu the waiter told us he contacted us twice to ask us what the so-called menu was I did not receive anything we were not able to benefit from this menu I am disappointed

29/08/2024: We were very well received and the BigBen and Grizzli burgers were delicious! The steak was cooked well and the flavors were fantastic together! The homemade fries are also very good with an original tarragon sauce to die for: we recommend this great culinary discovery!!

30/08/2024: A restaurant based on seafood in the heart of Rennes. The service lacks a little professionalism but this is perhaps linked to servers under contract for the summer? Very little wait which is both a positive but also a negative point because the aperitifs have barely started, the dishes arrive (but the wine is not served so you have to ask for it) The mussels and fries are good with taste and different flavor choices. As for desserts, a little disappointed by desserts that were a little heavy but still had good flavors! A bit high rating for this type of restaurant for my taste.

30/08/2024: A convenient restaurant to eat without waiting too long for lunch. The daily specials are quite copious but can lack flavor. Which can also be the case for desserts (e.g. a chocolate cake that didn't have much flavor...) The service is speedy and this often creates a lack of certain items on the table (bread, sauce, etc.) The prices are very fair.

The atmosphere on the terrace was very pleasant, the dishes and desserts delicious, and the waitress's suggestions were perfect. A big thank you to her for her remarkable kindness and friendliness! The service was impeccable from start to finish. A very nice experience, thank you

30/06/2025: A deplorable experience at Le Méditérranée restaurant. As soon as we arrived, we sensed a certain irritation from the manager when we asked to eat on the terrace. Bad choice: at 10 p.m., a group of visibly very drunk regulars occupied the outdoor area, talking loudly and creating a frankly unpleasant atmosphere. But the worst was yet to come: my lamb tagine gave off a nauseating odor of spoiled meat. Some pieces were edible, others literally reeked of death. I'm used to eating lamb and mutton, and I can honestly say that this odor was anything but normal. The Lebanese bread, meanwhile, was served to us in a plastic bag placed directly in a basket... appalling. When I pointed out the problem with the meat when it came to the bill, the server took our plates and showed them to the kitchen. That's when the manager intervened aggressively, criticizing me for not speaking sooner, in an unacceptable tone. I had to ask him to tone it down, as I was speaking calmly and had simply pointed out that my meat wasn't okay. He seemed drunk, very angry, and preferred to leave, probably to avoid losing control. Fortunately, the chef was understanding, spoke to me kindly, and acknowledged that it could have been a mistake on the part of the butcher, who had supplied mutton instead of lamb. He tried to convince the waiter to make a gesture of goodwill, which the latter clearly refused at first. Incomprehensible, given the state of my dish. Finally, after insistence from the chef and myself, the waiter reprinted the receipt and removed my dish from the bill, looking genuinely annoyed, which was the least he could do. But the height of disrespect came as we were leaving: the manager, speaking to some regulars inside, mockingly said, "So, kids, wasn't the lamb good?" I calmly replied that no, it didn't smell good, to which he retorted, "Go away!" Shocked, I asked him if he really dared to say that to me. He denied it, then tried to provoke my companion by saying, "You're brave," as if he was looking for a confrontation, because I continued to tell him that it was unprofessional for a restaurant owner and that he had been truly disrespectful to me. A shameful attitude, a deplorable welcome, and questionable food. I highly recommend this restaurant. I don't understand how it can still be recommended by Le Petit Futé, especially given the many negative reviews about the manager's behavior and the toxic atmosphere maintained by some regulars.
