02/04/2024: There is only one person working around all the tables, of course limited customers too at that time. We ordered chicken biryani, and it is not at all worth to wait such a longtime and get so called 'chicken biryani '. Not worth for a second visit. Seating arrangement is good though, but service and taste is not good.

26/08/2024: Myself and my partner very much enjoyed our meal, but I wanted to add an extra thank you and recommendation because we left a phone behind and the staff did everything they could to return it us - we got it back eventually! Very warm and friendly. Thank you!

15/08/2024: It took 45 minutes to wait to get glasses and a carafe of water, after asking for it. When we see someone deigning to go out onto the terrace to serve and take orders from the 9 tables outside. The waitress informs us, in English, that they are “late…”. This is surely unpredictable for August 15... at 7:30 p.m.... while a lady, while glancing outside, (the manager we suppose) is surprised at the delay while she does not even help her employees . We waited another 15 minutes to receive our order all at once. We envy our neighbors who, having waited as long as us, fled. Great good for them. Lamb Korma: lamb is a meat that leaves its cook no chance; if it’s done poorly you know it straight away. The same way if it is of poor quality. We might as well tell you that she meets all the conditions to end up on the podium of ignominy. Not to mention the sauce which had so little flavor that it couldn't cover the shame of this meat. Chicken Tikka Masala: we know massala/massalé well. Mild and spicy sauce, slightly or strongly seasoned. Well there you will remain seated. Disappointed by bland pieces of chicken, in reddish water without any masala code. The naan was okay. Although once again the taste was off. And for the rice... still a chance that this thing at €3.50 per portion is made correctly. In short, don't go there.

21/11/2024: Authentic Sri Lankan and Indian cuisine restaurant. I stumbled upon it somewhat by chance and had a delicious idiyappam thali. The chai was excellent too. Excellent surprise!

10/02/2024: I visited this place back in 2011 with my cousins while staying nearby in Paris. The best was the Siripai. I hope I can visit again soon.

17/08/2024: Restaurant médiocre et ce sont des voleurs, un patron de très mauvaise foi! Service beaucoup trop rapide, aliment de piètre qualité, rien n’est cuisiné en conscience la nourriture servie est fade! ATTENTION sur la carte extérieur les plats principaux sont servis avec du riz, à la facturation vous paierez votre plat 15 euros et vous paierez le riz 5 euros en supplément. Le patron raconte que la carte extérieur qui est en supperposition date d’il y’a 3 ans et qu’il n’a pas eu le temps de modifier…… Mensonge car plusieurs clients se sont plaint! Ils sont simplement de mauvaise foie et voleurs! Le sol du restaurant est sale et colle partout, les verres ne sont pas propre! Voler la clientèle ne leur apportera rien de positif! Et leurs comportement non plus, je vous déconseille cet endroit, l’´argent mal acquis ne dégage que de mauvaises énergies…. Si vous désirez goûtez à la cuisine Indienne à Boulogne allez à la Vallée du Kashmir vous y trouverez de vrais personnes bienveillante et une cuisine de saveur faite avec conscience mais surtout aussi de l’honnêteté! Fuyez donc le Taj Mahal

28/05/2024: Avoid eating at this restaurant and ordering on weekends. I usually order from them and every time I order on the weekend, I get food poisoning every time. At the start of the week it's good.

11/06/2024: I went to this restaurant on a Saturday lunchtime, refused to serve a naan and samosa under the pretext that it was lunchtime service, while a customer behind me had a roll... it's the first time that I come out of a restaurant without being able to order...

16/08/2024: The customer service is very rude towards people of color.The non indian person at the counter first checks with the customers if they can afford the menu and every person should order one main dish even for kids.

31/07/2024: I wondered why the rating is 3.5! The food is so delicious, the service and the receptionist are amazing . We ordered vegetable Byryani, veg samossa, garlic naan , butter chicken.

10/07/2024: I came, I saw, I am defeated. Very good naan with cheese, lassi good, the salad would not make you envy a ready-made bag from Intermarché, the chicken dry as if abandoned after two days in the fridge then reheat. The surprise dessert, an addition of 19 euros plus point, the Indian beer coming from the Nordic countries. The service is a positive point. Welcoming server. I couldn't take a photo, my phone told me the quality wasn't good

10/07/2024: Dark and unwelcoming restaurant despite rather pleasant staff. The food is not Indian. The Indian sauces are Chinese (siracha, sweet and sour and a neon green mint yogurt) Dry and untasty chicken. Being a regular at Indian restaurants, I was very surprised by what I was served. The salad accompanying my dish was of poor quality (bagged salad, tomatoes and cucumber, Greek sauce...) incredible incompetence in the kitchen. When we say we are not satisfied, there is no reaction. I paid for a dessert that I didn't even dare to order given the dishes.

25/08/2024: I can't believe someone has been fooling French people with this so-called "Indian" food for over a decade. In the age of AI and information, how do you expect to pass off rice and chicken as biryani, come on french people just get a biryani recipe from Dishoom London if you don't trust Indian people? The food was stale, a haphazard mix of random ingredients, with nothing authentic or Indian about it. And seriously, how do you mess up something as simple as raita? This place is an insult to genuine Indian cuisine. No wonder the place is almost always deserted—no one in their right mind would come here. Although the gentleman serving was very polite and well-mannered, even he couldn't cover up for the chef's idiocy in the kitchen. Stop cooking! I'm glad UK restaurants have hygiene and food ratings because this restaurant would barely scrape a 1/5. Don't waste your time or money here.

23/07/2024: I just like the atmosphere of the restaurant. They were kind to us, we had a pleasant experience with them, and the food was great :) Additionally, their traditional tea was so delicious that everyone should try it!

29/04/2024: I order often because it's the only Indian restaurant in the area. But I really have doubts about the freshness of the products! This is the second time in a few months that I find myself doubled over, well shaken after eating. As for the service... the portions for the price are really inflated, there are often order errors, and... not the same service each time. Once we offer you sauces, once not... Please take our opinions into account, and be more conscientious in the kitchen!! It would be a shame to close the door, there is a lack of dietary diversity here. And what you do is still really good. I will change my opinion if I see an improvement in the coming months. On the other hand, clearly if I get sick again I will end up refraining from ordering from you.

04/10/2023: The food is good but the dishes we ordered were a bit under our expectations. Quite cheap though. I had made a first rather positive comment, but 12 hours later I'm editing it as my friend and I both are having mild but unpleasant gastro-intestinal issues. They are very likely related to what we ate... and this is not a problem of spiciness or something, nothing was spicy in what we ordered. I can handle ungodly amounts of chili peppers really well anyways. So, too bad for the mild intoxication, I'd have liked to go back there otherwise...

17/09/2023: The food has an authentic taste, and the service and staff members are friendly. The owner is also quite pleasant and helpful to customers. During my trip to Paris, I ordered three times.
