Table service was attentive and english menus available. Over all, our dinner experience this evening was fantastic and we left feeling very full!!

04/09/2026: We had dinner last night at this restaurant, which we booked randomly (after checking the reviews), and it was a wonderful discovery! The food was incredibly delicious and very generous, the staff were very friendly, and the atmosphere was very welcoming. We will definitely return and will recommend it to our friends and family.

01/09/2026: I was walking past Mother India when the wonderful aroma of Indian spices immediately caught my attention. It smelled so inviting that I stopped to look at the menu and then stepped inside for a quick look at the restaurant. I did not have a meal on this occasion, so my review is based only on my first impression of the place. The interior felt warm, colourful, and full of character, with a pleasant atmosphere that suits Indian cuisine very well. The restaurant looked clean and welcoming, and the fragrance coming from the kitchen made the food seem especially tempting. I also spent some time looking through the menu. There appeared to be a good variety of Indian dishes, including starters, tandoori options, rice dishes, naan, and several familiar favourites. The menu was clear and reasonably easy to understand. Although I cannot yet comment on the taste of the food or the table service, the overall first impression was very positive. The atmosphere, interior, and delicious aroma made me interested in returning properly for dinner. I would definitely like to come back and try the food during a future visit.

26/08/2026: This place did not disappoint! Super tasty, massive portions and a real authentic vibe. We loved sitting outside on the cobblestoned streets of Nice. The vegetable samosas and the lamb Delhi Belhi curry were the top contenders! Great vegan options too, clearly labelled which was super helpful

I can't even begin to describe the excellent welcome we received, especially from Seyni, who was incredibly patient while taking our order and who was absolutely lovely and attentive! I thank him from the bottom of my heart; we highly recommend it!

17/08/2026: It is a nice restaurant located near the main train station and hotel area. The owner is very nice and friendly. Our original plan was just to have some tea, but er ended up having a great dinner. We ordered Chicken Karahi with cheese naan, garlic naan, tea with butter naan, and a sweet lassi. The cheese naan tested amazing, and we ended up ordering several more nana's. Overall, we really enjoyed the food and the friendly service. I would highly recommend this restaurant and would definitely love to visit again.

24/08/2026: I'm surprised by the previous reviews. The food is relatively good and the portions are reasonable. However, many of the vegetables are canned, like the spinach and mushrooms, for example. That's a shame. The service is deplorable and the terrace is very small; you're practically on top of each other. I would have appreciated a "thank you and have a good evening" when I paid. They rush you to maximize profits. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant for a pleasant experience. It's more like a canteen.

18/08/2026: The waiter was very friendly and welcoming, and the food was very good. However, there isn't really an atmosphere, especially if you don't sit on the terrace.

30/08/2026: Late August dinner in the open air. The food is notably better than just a few years ago. Very polite service. Fast. My wife had the chicken dopiaza and I had the chicken tikka masala. Just like back in England 😆. As Arnie said: “we’ll be back” !!
