27/04/2026: The food here was excellent. High quality and freshly made. We had chicken tikka masala and lamb karai. Meat was cooked to perfection and the nan bread was light and fresh. We dined in quite few places over our trip and this was my top 2. Unfortunately never took mobile phone so didn't get any photos. The server was lovely and kind too. Highly recommend.

26/04/2026: The chicken Madras rice was delicious and spicy. Only order it if you can tolerate very hot food (it contains green chilies). The cheese naan and dessert were also good. The portion was generous and the service was good. I recommend it.

18/04/2026: We ordered takeout. We were told it would take 20 minutes, and that was accurate, which allowed us to double-park and quickly pick up our order without causing too much of a problem. This is the second Indian restaurant in Vence that we've tried, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The portions are generous and the dishes are expertly prepared. We'll definitely be back!

23/04/2026: At Mother India, the food is delicious and the service is very warm. The decor and background music create a very pleasant, relaxing atmosphere during your meal. It's a bit hidden away but close to the beach in the historic city center. I highly recommend it!

11/05/2026: High-quality, traditional, and rich Indian food! If you enjoy it, you should come! The grilled dishes, such as chicken tikka masala and lamb, are generously portioned, without sauce (not to be confused with curry, which does have sauce!), and if you're with someone with a moderate appetite, it's a good serving. We ordered two, one each, and ended up with leftover food. But it was worth it! Excellent service! Don't miss the cheese naan, which comes warm and is a house specialty. The rice comes in two options: white rice, in a deep, round bowl that's good for two, or Kashmiri rice, which is sweet, with cashew nuts and coconut milk, as well as candied fruit. It's a good accompaniment to cut the intense spiciness of certain dishes. Aside from that, it might not appeal to everyone. It comes in a medium-sized bowl, serving two people very well. The restaurant has two levels, with plenty of space.

15/04/2026: The setting is nice and the food is decent, but nothing special. However, the servers today spoke little to no French, and the one who served us was neither friendly nor courteous. He clearly didn't want to be there, which was very unpleasant for us as customers.

21/03/2026: Honestly, Kashmir in Saint-Laurent was a fantastic discovery! I'm vegetarian, and the €15 lunch menu was just perfect; we absolutely loved it. I even ordered takeout for dinner because it was so good... special mention for the spinach and cheese dish (I forgot the name, but it was incredible, lol). If you're ever in the area, go without hesitation! (Just be careful on the road, though, lol). I recommend it 100%!

23/04/2026: Very disappointing experience comparing to all the restaurants we tried in Menton. I ordered a vegetable biriyani and received a small portion of rice mixed with some leftover Aubergine curry, which has nothing to do with a biriyani. The butter chicken, which my friend ordered was a sweet creamy sauce with full of cardamom flavor, almost like a dessert. Above that we had to pay 12.- euros for a King Fisher, which is ridiculous. I would not recommend this place, if you’re looking for authentic Indian food at all.
