01/09/2024: If you're tired of the dumplings and andouillettes served in most restaurants on Rue St Jean, then you can try the exotic at the Raj Mahal.
We received good advice from the waiter, who did not push us to eat, and who directed us towards suggestions that were not too spicy. I don't remember the name of the dishes, but it was tandoori.

07/09/2024: We had an excellent time at lunchtime, despite our very late arrival, we were served and the meal was a treat for everyone. We ordered the shrimp with madras sauce and beef samosa as well as a tandoori chicken accompanied by garlic and cheese naan and simple cheese. Thanks to the restaurateurs and cooks. We will come back very soon. 💪🏽🥰

09/09/2024: Excellent restaurant, we enjoyed ourselves. The waiter is incredibly kind and sympathetic, always with a smile, joking, thank you Sir for this moment!
The dishes were really very good and the quantities were very good. Really honest value for money. And each time the level of pepper is requested in advance, and adjusted to each person, it's great.
I would come back without any hesitation during my next visit to Lyon.
This restaurant does not serve alcohol, but the mocktails are really good (and not expensive!) I can only recommend them.

26/09/2024: Not a good experience. They served 2 tablespoons of daal with 2 cups of rice. Chicken (karahi) was hard and tasteless. Naan were served before the dinner. The only tasty dish was White rice.

12/09/2024: We spent a very nice evening at Rose Allemand, the starters (samosa and paneer pakoras), the curries and naans are exceptional +++. The owner is really very welcoming and took the time to explain the menu. We will return!

Nice welcome. The dishes are excellent. A big downside however regarding the ridiculous quantities... never seen a lassi this small, and quite honestly 3 small pieces of lamb and 2 small pieces of potato on a plate for €18 is exaggerated. This was clearly a child's portion. Too bad because the taste is there.

03/09/2024: Notre restaurant indien préféré. Des plats excellents. Pas d'amateurs en cuisine ! Le curry d'agneau est formidable. Les crevettes madras nous ont également conquis. A chaque fois, on teste un nouveau plat. Jamais déçus. Excellent rapport qualité prix. Le riz est inclus dans les plats. Et en dessert, il faut absolument goûter les kulfis (des glaces maison)
L'accueil particulièrement sympathique est aussi un raison supplémentaire de tester ce restaurant.
