La Guinguette de Belle Isle
Chateauroux
28/09/2026: We were very disappointed by the restaurant, both by the service and the wait between courses. It took two hours for the first course after we had a lovely charcuterie board shared between six adults, which was quickly devoured. The justification given was that the charcuterie board was considered a starter? The main courses were subpar! The andouillettes were served cold with a spoonful of vegetables and a small basket of fries! The burgers were standard and lacked any particular flavor, and the salad was sparsely filled and, oddly enough, served with pieces of strawberry. We had to wait again to order dessert! This wait was justified by staff shortages, so we finally left after three hours!
17/09/2026: I highly recommend the truffle tagliatelle; it's a true delight and an incredible surprise. FrenchCarsToys 🚙

18/09/2026: Hello Juliette.
Hello Team.
Thank you for the delicious meal (catered).
The mashed potatoes were absolutely delicious!
Thank you for the cheese pieces in the charcuterie!
It was perfect!

16/09/2026: Uber Eats order: Salad delivered without dressing, unfriendly person on the phone who wouldn't let me speak.
Their solution: Come pick up the dressing. Wait in line! If I use delivery, it's because I can't go out.
Especially since it's my first time ordering.

Café De Paris
Chateauroux
04/10/2026: Very nice meal, quick and pleasant service 🙂
30/09/2026: The fish and chips were really not great, probably prepared by inexperienced cooks. The crudités platter with goat cheese was okay, but nothing special. The dessert was good, with a lightly sweetened cream.

Bar de Theatre
Chateauroux
17/08/2026: Excellent. Fresh, tasty, and top-notch service.
05/08/2026: I stumbled upon this brasserie a few days ago with my little boy. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food! A real gem. We were delighted by both the savory and sweet dishes. We were served quite quickly. And the price was reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food. The owner was very friendly to boot. Thank you for this delicious meal! Bravo to the chef(s)!

Le Face
Chateauroux
15/08/2026: We made a reservation for Saturday evening and when we arrived, the restaurant was closed! I find it unacceptable to accept a reservation when the restaurant is closed! Please inform your customers in advance next time.
06/08/2026: A great restaurant in the heart of Châteauroux. The food is varied and delicious, and the service is excellent. Reservations are recommended to secure a table. I recommend the avocado toast with marinated salmon as a starter.

09/09/2026: Super friendly owner and excellent raclette. I recommend it 200%!
08/09/2026: They moved so it took me a while to find. The service is great. Most of their food is good. I said MOST. But unfortunately the price is way ridiculously high. Now I don't go as often. Can't afford it

Relay
Chateauroux
25/06/2026: Hello
The blonde saleswoman is super nice, by the way. Thank you for all these years. I've been watching her on replay for so long; she's always been pleasant to me, especially today (June 25, 2026). The new young saleswoman always has a smile.
♥️♥️
18/06/2026: It's a nice Relay store, but I won't be going back. When you display a price, you don't charge people for anything else. Even if half of €3 is €1.50, it was clearly displayed that the drink was €1.25. The pricing error isn't my problem per se.

Le Carthage
Chateauroux
21/08/2026: Disappointed…
It's a real shame, but it's gotten much worse. Cold bread, bad meat, and very small portions. It used to be much better, but now I definitely don't recommend it.
21/08/2026: Update your hours for 11:00 PM or make sure you have enough staff to serve your customers until midnight!

McDonald's
Chateauroux
26/09/2026: The worst McDonald's in France. In all my orders this year, I've never once received my entire order! And to top it all off, they cram four large meals into a single paper bag... which, of course, rips open on the ground five minutes later as I'm getting out of my car: who does that?!
22/09/2026: It's a shame they didn't warn us that the bao bun would be replaced with a regular burger bun.

Domino's Pizza
Chateauroux
11/09/2026: Very disappointed with my delivery. Pizzas advertised online at €6, I called for delivery and was charged €30 for 2 pizzas instead of €12. No one mentioned this on the phone. I will no longer use their delivery service.
18/08/2026: It's shameful to send pizzas with so much honey; the thing is inedible. We pay for something we can't even eat! Avoid at all costs.
