05/09/2024: My first time at the brasserie Fantin Latour for lunch, it was an exceptional experience with dishes that were tastefully presented. The taste of each new dish was exceptionally curated with local ingredients, picked by the chef himself in the Alps. There was a story about the chef mountain climbing every Monday to collect some herbs, it added to the charm of the place. Very friendly staff and great atmosphere even though we were in the first room near the entrance with lots of people coming in and out. I'll come back for more

01/09/2024: After having tested and appreciated their gourmet cuisine we tried a theme evening - barbecue in the garden - and what a disappointment. For me, the dishes are not up to par at all. From the buffet I remember four positive things: the bread (always excellent), the mushroom terrine, the gravelax salmon and the cheeses (nice selection and very good maturation). The rest is good but not worthy of the price point - a little over €100 for two with a bottle of entry-level wine. Starters with lots of legumes (fortunately there wasn't just that but they were simple preparations). The meats were too dry, the two vegetables were not cooked enough - beyond the crunch, the fennel is even quite indigestible. As for dessert, it was poor: a cake that was much too heavy (cheesecake type with a very thick biscuit), apricots in too sweet syrup, a crepe Suzette from which mainly came out the bitterness and the alcohol which was not enough flamed. On the other hand, the service is top notch. I didn't expect so much attention for a buffet meal. The garden is quite pleasant without being particularly pretty. I'm going to try a buffet formula one last time in Narbonne "aux grands buffets" and if disappointment is expected again I will avoid for good this formula which I don't particularly like. My suggestion until then: you go to your “favorite” caterer, you indulge in what you buy, even if it means having half a lobster, you buy a bottle of wine that makes you happy and you find yourself a corner of greenery which dominates Grenoble. That's it, no regrets, beautiful memories with your soul mate who will find your gesture very romantic, and what's more, you will have spent much less money. 22/09/2024: Terrasse très agréable accueil sympathique attente pour la commande un peu long surtout que nous sommes arrivés en tout début de service. Les plats sont très bon dommage qu il faille un amer 7€ supplémentaire pour avoir des frites à la place du gratin. Décevant

07/09/2024: The food was good and the ambiance was ok even though everything was greasy and run down. We had a very bad experience with the staff. They were slow and pretty rude. They were not happy that our toddler was playing outside while we were waiting for the dessert menu (that never came). Would never go back and would not recommend it to anyone.

17/09/2024: 100 plain pancakes and 150 pancakes ordered and delivered for a birthday. A killing, I have only had good feedback, and yet as a pure Breton and with a whole Breton family…. Not to mention the kindness of the staff and Kevin. We recommend with your eyes closed.

02/09/2024: Un must to do ! Que c'est bon ! bravo ! Une régularité telle fait plaisir à voir. la salade aux 1000 croustillants ! Le boeuf sauté sur plaque. Tout y est excellent. je recommande vivement. Le patron et l'équipe sont adorables.

11/09/2024: Very nice restaurant and friendly staff. At lunchtime there are two dishes offered, one vegetarian or vegan and one with meat. Both dishes were very good, perfectly cooked and seasoned. There are vegan and gluten-free desserts, which are excellent. I highly recommend!!

20/09/2024: Hello, we had our daughter's wedding, everything was perfect, a wonderful welcome from the owner, the delicious meal, especially the lamb shank.

21/10/2024: I was very scared following the previous reviews, I was expecting horror, ultimately it wasn't that bad but not terrible either. I ordered because I had a 10 euro reduction for the new customers, without this reduction I would have been very disappointed. Delivery was on time contrary to some comments. I had makis/californias/spring without raw fish. They weren't bad, a little dry for some, but much worse than those at my usual restaurants. The coleslaw on the other hand was horrible, it looked like they forgot the sauce, I put soy sauce in it and I'm going to let it soften until tomorrow but I fear the worst. This will be my first and last order from sushi shop.
