09/10/2026: A very good experience; we were just passing through with our dog. All three of us received a warm welcome from very kind and pleasant people, and the setting was beautiful with a friendly atmosphere. We ate very well. A place you absolutely must discover when you're in the area. We went without a reservation.

22/09/2026: I've never left a bad review on Google because I believe you shouldn't trash people on social media, but frankly, not only were we poorly received (even though there were 13 of us), but once seated, we were told there was only one set menu, despite supposedly being informed of this when we made the reservation, which was absolutely not the case (we're not fans of sauerkraut). We only managed to eat one of the three sauerkraut platters, if you count everything. But then, when it came time to pay the rather hefty bill (almost €400!), when we went over the bill with the waitress who asked us how much we were ordering, and we said 10 slices and 2 pizzas shared by 3 children, and then realized on the way out that we'd been charged for 11 slices at €25 each and 2 pizzas, I find that very dishonest. And to top it all off, we left with our Tupperware containers (well, yes, at €25 a portion of sauerkraut, we took it home even if it wasn't as excellent as we'd been promised to reassure us when we ordered), only to realize that we hadn't been given the sausages or the bacon, but that they had left the rind on. I find that very petty. In short, we should have gotten up and left when they told us there was only one set menu, but being polite, we didn't want to embarrass the restaurant owner. Perhaps we should have. One thing is for sure: we won't be back.

08/10/2026: Cocktail, main course, dessert: nothing interesting

06/09/2026: Honestly, it wasn't amazing. We were recommended the restaurant, but the food was definitely frozen. And the cocktail was mixed with cheap orange juice. Edit: The waiter who had the nerve to comment that he didn't like the style of my credit card was truly bizarre. I understand his point, but the service was appalling. So, I consider respect for your staff to be a two-way street.

15/09/2026: We had dinner tonight, the service was very friendly, the food was delicious and the price was good too, and it is a very beautiful, cozy location. We will definitely come back again.

04/10/2026: We were spending the weekend in Troyes and my wife and I decided to have dinner at Grill Saint-Jean. Our waitress was very professional, energetic, friendly, and particularly efficient in responding to our requests. The service was quick and attentive, and the food was delicious, made with high-quality ingredients. A very good experience; we highly recommend this restaurant!

30/09/2026: I ordered onion soup as a starter and a ribeye steak with fries and salad as a main course. The soup was lukewarm. The steak, in my estimation, was less than 3 cm thick and tough as leather. It didn't taste good either. By far the worst ribeye I've ever had. The young woman serving me was rather unfriendly when I complained. Sorry, but when you pay over €60, you can expect much more.

07/09/2026: September 6, 2026, I find out that La Tour de Pizz is for sale!??? According to the local newspaper. So it's closing for good? 🥹 What a shame, I really liked your pizzas even if the wait (for takeout) was long! Sometimes an hour...

06/09/2026: One of the best pizzerias in the area, always our go-to! Despite being late due to a festival in town, the team gave us a remarkable welcome and kept our table with a smile. A big thank you to the owner for her kindness and the wonderful conversation, as well as to the waitress for her efficiency. We thoroughly enjoyed our pizzas on the terrace: the Romana and the Calabrese were simply excellent. Special mention and great respect to the pizza chefs who do an exceptional job in front of their ovens, especially in this heat! Don't let the few negative reviews put you off; you can go there with your eyes closed.

04/09/2026: Clearly not the quantity I expected. Even more so considering the price. 9 euros for a panini, and I'm still looking for the chicken. The quality isn't there either. They're making a comfortable profit margin, apparently 😡
