01/04/2026: A very good experience at Le Chastel in Aix. I went with my partner and we had a wonderful meal. The dishes were generous and truly delicious, with substantial portions. The service was perfect: attentive, efficient, and very pleasant from start to finish. An excellent choice! 👍🏻

12/04/2026: Having first come on the recommendation of a friend who owns a restaurant, we came as a family for a birthday celebration. The menu was very appealing and immediately enticing. The amuse-bouche was already very flavorful, with a subtle hint of spice that instantly revealed the chef's touch. For my part, I chose raw fish with a very original and flavorful marinade. Then, sea bream with a sauce featuring notes of peas, kiwi, broccoli, and jalapeño: an intriguing combination, but perfectly executed and delicious. The dessert, meanwhile, was incredible, with a subtle sweetness that provided a truly light finish to the meal. All of this was accompanied by a very good wine from small producers. The ingredients are local and highlighted on the menu, which is a real plus. A superb discovery and an excellent culinary experience. I highly recommend it!

07/04/2026: Superb restaurant right in the heart of the old port, on a lovely square. The servers are attentive, friendly, and offer great advice. An Italian restaurant with a wide selection—everything looks tempting! The dishes are beautifully presented and equally delicious! Excellent value for money. A very attractive setting, lovely decor, a pleasant atmosphere, especially when enjoying the sun on the terrace. I highly recommend it!

06/04/2026: Dine out as a couple this weekend. The Italian food was excellent, especially the lasagna and tortellini, which were delicious! The service was impeccable, and there was a cozy fireplace on a screen. We'll be back!

21/03/2026: I had the spaghetti bolognese, which was very good; it reminded me of my nona's cooking—true Italian cuisine. Be warned, the portions are very generous; only those with a hearty appetite can afford to order the appetizers. It was an evening meal with colleagues, and everyone was delighted. A great place to eat. The only downsides are the uninspired desserts and the somewhat dated decor, but hey, you go for the food 😋, not the ambiance.

28/02/2026: Sorry to disagree with some of the reviews, but while the window display is appealing, the rest is less so: the service systematically pushes you towards the most expensive items, the Italian charcuterie platter (€21, no less!) is a mountain of salad with very little meat (just placed on top, what a strange idea!), and the same goes for the Caprese salad (in Italy, there's no lettuce, lol). The pasta is just okay. Given the overall impression, I didn't try the desserts. In short, I wasn't convinced. A shame.

15/04/2026: I just ate at this so-called restaurant. I ordered a salmon fillet; it was as thin as a steak. A fillet cut lengthwise. Completely dry...

30/06/2025: Victimes de leur succès je pense...dernière commande décevante, livraison avec près d'une heure de retard (22h30!) , les invités et les enfants morts de faim, les 6 pizzas presque froides, molles et crues en leur centre... impossible de les manger à la main. 31/10/2025: I'm not a big fan of restaurants, due to too many disappointments that have, over time, put me off. And when I do have to go, it's always with reluctance, expecting to be disappointed, because I often find the dishes bland and uninteresting. But this time, I was more than pleasantly surprised. The dishes were excellent, perfectly cooked, and the waitress and owner were attentive, making sure everything was to our liking and that we didn't need anything. I'm genuinely very happy I went to this restaurant.
