21/02/2026: 5/5 We arrived to get takeaway pizzas and ended up eating in. The pizzas were delicious and the service was excellent. Many thanks to the waitress/manager and the chef, we had a wonderful time!

20/02/2026: We enjoyed excellent pizzas and delicious homemade desserts, including tiramisu served right at our table alongside our main course. The decor was impeccable, the restrooms welcoming, Italian music played throughout the meal, and the service was warm and friendly. Honestly, there's nothing negative to say! As a bus driver at the nearby depot, I would gladly return!

Whether it's the pizzas, the pasta, or the other dishes, everything is simply delicious… Not to mention the friendliness of the staff, who are always smiling and ready to chat with their customers! I'll keep coming back again and again; for an Italian far from home, it's magical.

02/12/2025: For me, this is the best pizzeria in Caen! I'm not usually a big pizza fan, but this... The wood-fired oven makes all the difference. The crust is delicious, and the choice of base (tomato, cream, pesto) is fantastic. I especially loved the four-cheese and the Andria. Finish with the tiramisu; it's amazing. The staff is lovely, and the prices are reasonable. I recommend it 100%!

The welcome was warm and you feel right at home. Everything is there for a wonderful time enjoying homemade food. I highly recommend it without hesitation!

11/01/2026: We received a very warm welcome on a weekday evening for a group of about 30 people. Seated in a private room, it was very pleasant. The pizzas and service were perfect!

11/01/2026: Having frequented La Médicis for its welcoming atmosphere and pleasant ambiance, we were truly disappointed with our visit last night. We had a reservation for 7:15 pm. We barely had time to open the menu before the waiter asked us to choose, claiming it was "an order from management." Five minutes later, our pizzas arrived, without even having time to enjoy an aperitif. The waiter's mission was clearly to clear the table as quickly as possible. It's a shame, because this waiter, whom we regularly see, is always very attentive to his customers. I think management should take a hard look at themselves.

14/02/2026: Always a great time at this restaurant! I've been going there since I was a child, and the new owners haven't taken anything away from the charm and quality of Buona Tavola—quite the opposite! We don't go often, but we'll definitely continue to go as regularly as possible!

Mario was friendly and helpful, sung his way through the night, our food was authentic Italian and outstanding flavour. We’ve been travelling for 6 weeks and this was our favorite meal. 01/02/2026: I hadn't been back since the changes. I ordered a Normande and a calzone, being a huge pizza fan. The service was excellent, the ingredients were good, and the calzone was generously filled. The Normande was also good, just missing some small potatoes. The dough was good but lacked a little flavor, depending on the recipe, the method, and the flour used. It also needed a touch more cooking time to get that perfect crispness—it's a matter of seconds. Overall, it deserves 5 stars because I ate very well and the price is really reasonable. Keep up the good work! 👍
