18/10/2024: The other reviews here range from 1 to 5 stars, so we asked advice from a local bar owner (Café Corsica), who reassured us as to the quality and reputation of the place
Local oysters (delicious) for me, poulpe (perfectly lightly cooked) for my partner, followed by 2 x spaghetti Buttarga (absolutely delicious in taste and presentation). Everything was superb, including the service.
We were lucky to have a table on the terrace facing the port, which added to the ambiance. I finished off with a homemade lemon tart and coffee with a Cognac. We were still talking about the wonderful meal the next day. Thanks to the owner and staff!

20/09/2024: Agréable soirée. Restaurant bien décoré jusqu’au assiettes originales. Service efficace et attentionné. Plats savoureux et copieux… pain perdu en dessert xxl 😋. Très bonne adresse. 👍
17/09/2024: Dans un cadre convivial et sympathique nous avons passé une excellente soirée.
Les plats sont de très bonne qualité et très largement servis.
Le personnel ainsi que l'encadrement sont très agréables.
Je recommande sans hésiter

11/10/2024: The owners and staff are very welcoming at Bergerie de E Capanelle. Excellent plate of charcuterie, excellent evening meal like breakfast during my visit on September 7 from Vizzanova.
An unmissable place when crossing Corsica on the GR 20 which offers many solutions for spending the night outdoors, as well as indoors at the gîte.

10/10/2024: Good pizza. Kitchen opens at 12 and not a minute before. There is an abandoned, vandalised refuge up above the gite but there is no one there the gîte seems to have completely replaced it.

29/09/2024: If you're looking for pizza, don't hesitate! Pizza in a real wood-fired oven. Fair prices. We went back to order a second one a few days later because it was really excellent!! 🍕

The two of us went to dinner this evening.
We had the “Hot Goat Cheese Salad” as a starter, the “Classic Burger” and a “Capriciosa Pizza” as a main course. Everything was delicious and appealing.
To drink, we had a Coke and two quarts of red wine in a carafe. Everything is fine.
And then the bill arrived!
I had to pay 15 euros for a quart of red wine in a carafe - so 30 euros for the two carafes (1/2 liter in total)!
Sorry, but that's not possible!
I complained and after a discussion with the waitress she finally excused me a quarter and I had to pay "only" 15 euros for the wine.
Now that I think about it, 15 euros for 0.5 liters of wine in a carafe is still too expensive!
A scam???

06/11/2024: Stop here for an impromptu meal on the road to Porto Vecchio, the atmosphere is very friendly with the many lights, that said the food was a little bland (Corsica pizza).

09/10/2024: Endroit calme et cool, service sympathique, cuisine appréciée ( sauf le café gourmand pas terrible), conseillé par le Routard donc justifié comme d'habitude.
Petit bémol, pas de menu, et pas de vins autre que Corse, ce qui semble habituel ici. Beau moment tout de même.
