06/03/2026: While we used to go every year, this will be the last time, as the evening of July 14th was a complete fiasco despite the manager's best efforts. The supposedly special menu was more expensive but mediocre, the rolls were frozen, and there were hours-long waits for drinks, starters, and main courses—in short, a terrible experience! Having worked in the restaurant industry myself, I know that a service that starts badly can become a real ordeal for any establishment, and this was a complete disaster. 😰😰😰😰

10/09/2025: Super good typical restaurant, the owner was charming and the dishes excellent. Very affordable prices and menu changes every week, which is a great concept. Don't hesitate for a second to go there!

26/02/2026: We had a wonderful time at this Corsican restaurant, ideally located on the seafront port in Saint-Florent. The setting is truly delightful, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that encourages relaxation. We were a table of seven, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal from start to finish. For starters, we shared a mixed platter of Corsican cheeses and charcuterie, which was a unanimous hit: high-quality products, a real treat. The presentation was also very elegant, both for the platter and the other dishes. For our main courses, we sampled the octopus stew with peppers and chorizo, served with rice, which was perfectly cooked and flavorful; the cannelloni with brocciu cheese, which were delicious and melt-in-your-mouth tender; and the filet mignon, offered with a choice of honey or Roquefort sauce, which was incredibly tender and full of flavor. The children's menu (chicken tenders and fries) was also a big hit. Again, the dishes were beautifully presented and showcased the quality of the ingredients. To finish on a sweet note, we enjoyed a chestnut cake with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, as well as a crème brûlée with myrtle liqueur: a true delight! The desserts were as beautiful as they were delicious. From the appetizer to the dessert, everything was perfect. The staff is very pleasant, welcoming, and attentive, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. A truly wonderful restaurant in Saint-Florent that is well worth a visit!

15/05/2026: Unpleasant welcome: we were moved three times even though only three tables were occupied. We arrived, said hello, and made polite requests, but clearly the owner's values ​​are not the same: we were looking for a nice place to host a meal for 30 people, but with absolutely no consideration for two friendly people like ourselves, the decision was quickly made to look elsewhere... Have a good season! Luckily, not all Corsicans are so unpleasant... far from it!

13/04/2026: You don't stumble upon U Ricantu by chance. This lovely beach bar is particularly enjoyable both for the food on the plate and for the warm welcome. It's a shame that some people complain, and it shows a complete lack of humor when dealing with an owner who, behind his sometimes unwelcome remarks, is a character with a strong personality and, above all, is extremely charming! It's a pity he can't comment on the behavior of some of his customers himself... because there's plenty to say about that too.
