11/07/2026: Great experience, wonderful welcome and delicious pizza

09/07/2026: Ordered two takeaway pizzas: a large chicken and a large salmon (without mushrooms). When my partner arrived, we received a large salmon with mushrooms! Instead of a chicken, we received a new pizza that wasn't even on the menu (cream, bacon, mushrooms, and blue cheese). On top of that, we found several hairs in the pizzas. In short, unacceptable. A word of advice: don't hire new employees if they don't know how to make pizzas!

03/07/2026: An excellent restaurant in Metz for lovers of hearty cuisine. We had a very pleasant time at this establishment. The dishes are flavorful and truly generous. I particularly enjoyed the penne with peas and sundried tomatoes—a real treat. Everything was perfectly prepared with ingredients that seemed carefully selected. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, ideal for a casual meal. I highly recommend this restaurant for the quality of the food and the overall ambiance. We will gladly return.

27/06/2026: This is the first time I've ever left a negative review, but I left Casa Ricci shocked. The food is certainly good. The setting is pleasant. The two youngest waitresses were lovely. That's all. I made a reservation for my family and me for my birthday. The welcome and hospitality were very mediocre. We arrived, they said we had a reservation, but we had to find our own seats (perhaps that's part of the concept, but we were surprised). There was no air conditioning, and my mother, who is over 70, had a very hard time coping with the heat. The waiters and the kitchen staff were on the verge of a nervous breakdown because of the heat. There was a fan behind us, and we first asked the table next to us if it would be possible to direct it a little more towards my mother. They said yes. The same table moved, and my brother decided to turn the fan a little closer to my mother to relieve her discomfort. But apparently, it was reserved for the kitchen to blow hot air back into the dining room (how thoughtful of the other customers, we were all sweltering!). We were made aware of this quite aggressively by a woman who came out of the kitchen and violently redirected the fan, completely disregarding the other customers. My brother pointed out the woman's poor behavior, and she quickly became angry and started verbally abusing him. The situation escalated rapidly, and seeing that we weren't being treated with any respect, we decided to leave before we'd even finished eating. When we got to the register, we were asked what had happened. We tried to explain and then pay. But the person, who I assume was the manager, refused to let us pay, acting like a true gentleman, as he so disdainfully called himself. It wasn't a gesture of goodwill; it was yet another humiliation. With the added bonus of repeated insults in Italian directed at my brother, at least they were on theme. It's understandable that the heatwave can make tempers flare; working in these conditions is very difficult, but that doesn't excuse a lack of respect. At no point were we aggressive or disrespectful. This review isn't intended to criticize the restaurant, but to recount my very bad experience. I won't be going back.

14/06/2026: Thank you again for the delicious pizzas ordered tonight. I had the truffle pizza...it was amazing...reheated for 5 minutes in the oven, eaten with a small cucumber salad, I'm in heaven 🙃.

23/05/2026: I'm a regular Uber Eats customer, I've ordered here about ten times, and I have mixed feelings. The pizza is fine 2 or 3 times, but I've had problems 3 times, which I usually don't comment on. However, yesterday, the Sicilian pizza with anchovies left me on the toilet all night, and this morning I still have a stomach ache and have to go back to the bathroom... I doubt the freshness of the ingredients.

We chose the tasting menu and were delighted by the quality of the flavors, the beautiful presentation of the dishes, and the excellent service throughout the meal. Congratulations to the entire team and thank you for this wonderful experience. We will gladly return.

01/06/2026: The food was very refined and of high quality. It lacked a bit of texture, though. The service was very pleasant, even if they forgot to bring the glasses of wine we ordered. The team shows great promise once everyone finds their footing.

30/06/2026: Not worth the effort. As a tourist, you get ignored here by the lady outside. Eventually, I walked inside myself and ordered from the bartender. The bartender was friendly. But his female colleague simply avoids your gaze, doesn't even look at you. Very rude.

12/05/2026: We hadn't booked, but they found us a table. The restaurant filled up very quickly, there was hardly any wait to be served, the dishes were generous and delicious, and the staff came by at least four times to check that everything was alright. A real find, I highly recommend it.

17/05/2026: We came this evening with our children without a reservation. The staff were very friendly and set tables for five people. We had a wonderful meal; the quality and quantity were excellent. We will definitely be back. Thank you so much for your kindness.

20/05/2026: We go there occasionally, but we've never been disappointed. The pasta is excellent, and if you want to try steak tartare, this is the place to go. Very fresh, very tasty, tailored to your preferences, and prepared right in front of you. We'll definitely be back.

06/06/2026: The tarte flambée is absolutely to be avoided: the pastry was almost raw and far too thick, there was an excess of cream, and the onions weren't cooked either! In short, there probably wasn't enough heat in the oven, yet 1 p.m. is still early!

18/04/2026: EXCELLENT!!! A magical setting in a house with a terrace and peaceful garden bordering the forest... It felt like being at a friend's house! We had a wonderful meal! I recommend the pasta with pistachio pesto and the brownie with crème anglaise and vanilla ice cream. The menu fits on a chalkboard; everything here is homemade with love. The grocery section is full of high-quality Italian products. We'll be back to try the creative workshops! A few free private parking spaces are available right in front. 10 minutes from the city center.
