22/06/2026: A very bad experience. We waited over 20 minutes just for our drinks. The service was deplorable, the staff unwelcoming, and the atmosphere cold. The pizza wasn't anything special. I ordered a strawberry diabolo and was brought lemonade, with the simple explanation that they were out of syrup, without even asking if that was alright. We asked for hot sauce and were served oil. In the heat, seeing the owner carrying meat in a bag was rather unsettling. The only positive point was the cook, who at least had the courtesy to smile. I absolutely do not recommend this establishment.

07/05/2026: I went there twice and was disappointed both times by the poor service. And today I went to get a pizza and they refused my order for no reason (I didn't want to serve you). And the manager speaks rudely to customers and called me ill-mannered and disrespectful.

15/05/2026: A little sharing of experiences: we just wanted some clarification on the side dishes: "How are your roasted potatoes, please? (Knowing that sometimes they're cooked in duck fat, shaped like fries, etc.)" Answer: Well, roasted... And your potato pancakes? (Knowing that sometimes the size varies enormously, the amount of garlic and parsley, etc.)? Well, pancakes...." and the rest of the meal unfolded in this atmosphere... In short, even if the food wasn't bad, when you go to a restaurant on a Saturday night, it's to have a pleasant time and relax, not to be treated condescendingly... In any case, we quickly realized we were bothering her. I don't know if it was the manager, the waitress, or what her position was, but in any case, she needs to review her training or find a new job. Given the number of good restaurants nearby with competent and friendly waitresses, more competitive prices, pizzas without sidewalks, and more generous portions, why go back? That's the question... I'll just clarify in response to your reply that of course we arrived before our 15-20 minute delay and that it wasn't a problem for you (please coordinate between the waitresses next time). I'll even show you a screenshot from my phone of my second call just to demonstrate your bad faith... and when I wait for the order from the kitchen, the "go ahead and send them the cheese" after our discussion... it speaks volumes about the service. You can't be busy setting up the restaurant for the next day's service and take care of your last two customers at the same time. I understand that the week may have been long and complicated, etc., but if you're disturbing us at 9:30 PM to set up the next service, you should have let us know, and we would have left, I swear, ma'am. I didn't come here to settle a score, just to leave a negative review about the service. Anyway, we discussed it at the restaurant, just the two of us. And regarding your question about my profession, it reflects your mindset perfectly—it's irrelevant.

05/06/2026: This establishment offers a wide selection of quality pizzas, as well as a daily special, a unique creation not listed on the menu and available for a limited time. This allows you to regularly discover new flavors imagined by the chef. The service is warm and attentive.

19/07/2026: Over 45 minutes of waiting before being served, with no apology whatsoever. A small treat (bruschetta, pretzels, or another appetizer) during this wait would have been appreciated. The butcher's cut was good but far too smothered in sauce. The dessert (lemon cream) at €6.90 tasted rancid. I pointed this out after paying: the waitress, on her cigarette break, simply replied that she could have refunded me without offering any compensation. Poor quality/price ratio. What a shame… with better service, more attention to customers, and more care in the kitchen, the experience would be much more pleasant, and we would return! Food Health & Safety and Hygiene Trainer!

30/06/2026: Exceptional. We came on June 30, 2026. I had frog legs, and my wife had cordon bleu; we had a truly excellent meal. The couple were very friendly, and we had a wonderful time. I highly recommend this restaurant. And I haven't even mentioned the charming, ideal setting.

14/04/2026: A more than perfect welcome, fresh, seasonal cuisine, cooked in a family style, generously topped pizzas with exceptional taste... a delicious dinner, a steak tartare made to order with masterful skill... what more can I say except perfect! ^^^....Thank you to the whole team for this exceptional moment, a welcome escape from the dreary everyday! ^^.....

13/04/2026: A pleasant surprise! The setting is very nice, and the welcome is warm and friendly, which puts you in a good mood. The flammekueche for an aperitif was wonderful. The pizzas were excellent; the only downside was that the "hot" oil wasn't hot at all. I recommend it.

07/04/2026: I went to eat a calzone with a friend. From the start, the tablecloth was dirty, so I sent them back. I had asked for the calzone to be cooked, but it was practically burnt. There were barely any ham or mushrooms; they were drowned in a ton of Gruyere cheese. The egg was raw, practically raw. The waitress told me my opinion, and she was unhappy and unpleasant, telling me twice, "YOU HAVE THE RIGHT NOT TO LIKE IT, OK?" There was absolutely no professionalism. We each got a round-up of €19 down the drain... She had gone to show the employee the Gruyere cheese left on the edge of my plate, without any further explanation, while he was sitting on a chair on his phone. But the real shock was when the person working in the kitchen came to clear the tables, brought ice cream directly to the waitress, all while wearing black gloves, and went back to the kitchen. So much for hygiene... To say that the calzone was disgusting is an understatement. I am very surprised by the good reviews and that the bad ones are removed.

14/03/2026: A superb experience! The waiter (perhaps the owner) had a great sense of humor. The food was excellent, and everyone found something they enjoyed. We were there for a birthday celebration, and we were treated to a birthday candle and music 👍 Highly recommended!

10/03/2026: Bad experience at Santa Maria or La Pagaille, we don't know their real name… Very few options for vegetarians to begin with. For starters, they were out of burrata, so we ordered a Caesar salad without bacon (and therefore without mushrooms or other accompaniments). There were no croutons, tomatoes, eggs, or onions in it (even though it was listed on the menu). When we pointed this out (only about the egg), we waited ten minutes for a tiny egg cut in half – if that isn't a rip-off… The salad consisted solely of a huge amount of crème fraîche, a few mushrooms and potatoes, and lettuce, all for €16… The waiter who took our payment didn't even ask if we were satisfied with our meal, so of course we mentioned it, and they gave us the salad for free anyway. How I miss the old Santa Maria, light years away from this restaurant. I won't be back.

25/04/2026: Takeaway pizza The dough is good, but the toppings... nothing special, neither in quality nor quantity. Simply put, a supermarket pizza will do the trick... and why put salad on a pizza? In short, avoid it if you want a decent meal. Good for a quick fix.

26/07/2026: The food was very good, but honestly, the staff at reception couldn't even look at you or say hello... frankly, the restaurant's name doesn't do justice to the country it's named after... what a shame

18/07/2026: You arrive at 9:00 PM, order your aperitif, then your main course, and finally dessert. It's 10:00 PM, the restaurant's closing time. Dessert is served, but the servers stare at you insistently, urging you to leave. Or perhaps they're too busy chatting and laughing amongst themselves at the bar. Very disappointed with the staff; it's gone downhill. We used to enjoy coming here, but given the current staff, unfortunately, we won't be returning.
