04/04/2024: I loved Mori Venice Bar but this evening I understood that it was one of the best restaurants in Paris. The setting is a masterpiece that goes beyond trends, the food has a finesse and maturity of execution, the service is friendly and extremely attentive. This is a family welcome in a gourmet restaurant but without the protocol

03/04/2024: Excellent quality, very high price. Tasting menu not very abundant and ruined by the disappointing dessert (biscuits and eggnog cream). I expected something more. Nice venue. Good service apart from some shortcomings

06/04/2024: Superb restaurant! A warm welcome, and food that is just as warm. I really liked the little cheese ravioli and the decoration, it felt like we were in Italy in the heart of Paris!

01/04/2024: Prices far too high for an ultimately disappointing experience: if the menu is initially very appealing, neither the taste nor the quantities are there (at least as far as the pizzas are concerned, and the wine by the glass is unaffordable …). The service is also very average, and to top it off, we are dealing with a generally bling clientele (a valet for a pizzeria?…) who do not hesitate to make scenes over reservation problems. In short, do not rely on old comments which concern the previous brand and can therefore be misleading.

The service was attentive and courteous, contributing to a very pleasant overall experience. As an Italian food enthusiast, I was delighted to discover Les amis de Messina and I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves good food. My rating for this restaurant is 4 stars, due to the quality of the dishes and the welcoming atmosphere there, but also for the slight wait to be served. An essential address for a gourmet getaway in Paris!

31/03/2024: The vision of the half-dead mouse, cut in two, which managed to escape from its trap was not the best effect. Just like the staff who was quick to say that “it was normal in Paris” it was “cute” and that “it’s okay, she’s almost dead” there’s nothing wrong with it. get offended…. Well sorry but I almost returned everything at the end of the meal 🤢

21/03/2024: Great Italian in a fairly pleasant and almost pedestrian street very professional service and the food is quite good with a nice choice of starters In short, perfect for eating good pasta for a relatively reasonable price in this bohemian neighborhood.

17/01/2024: Wow, I have to tell you about La Bocca, my favorite on rue Montmartre! A great casual Italian. Each time, for over 10 years, it's like meeting old friends. The staff ? Always smiling and super friendly. What about the kitchen then? A pure delight! You absolutely have to try their Arabiata linguine, they are just perfect - spicy just right. And the fried squid and green beans, wow! It's been my little weekly getaway for years and I never get tired of it. If you are in the Montorgueil district, treat yourself and stop by La Bocca.

15/01/2024: I recommend 100%. I discovered it by pure chance. In addition to the price which is unbeatable for the neighborhood, the sauces are cooked with taste! I was thinking of getting a maxi cone given how hungry I was, in the end the mini is entirely sufficient and very substantial. They are generous with parmesan. Lou pasta, a delight!

10/01/2024: I go there at least once a week, our company is moving and it makes me sad not to see you anymore! I recommend with my eyes closed, it's good, not expensive, and well served, the best quality/price ratio!! I would definitely come back because I already miss these pastas and the staff :)

26/03/2024: We have come to the restaurant several times and have the pleasure of finding it closed... of course nothing is indicated on the site, you will realize this once you arrive at your destination... it would be nice to warn customers when closures 😉

03/03/2024: We had reserved + confirmed our reservation for Saturday evening but the restaurant owner forgot to inform us that he had finally decided to close... remember to inform your customers when this is the case.
