When we arrive, the smells delight us and the singing accents take us on a journey.
The welcome is friendly.
The “pesto” pizza is delicious, the dough is thin, crispy and the toppings are generous.
Come travel!
30/03/2024: What a disappointment, there is a serious problem with quality/price ratio in this restaurant. Honestly, on a €27 menu, the cuisine is non-existent.
The food is just cooked, no know-how. Absurd for the price. Cooking salmon is not even mastered.
Let's talk about the service, the staff is friendly, but once again, when you offer dishes for more than €20, you need the service that goes with it. They're talking to each other, they're on their phones, they're talking to each other, but where are we?
In terms of cuisine and service, I really don't see what justifies you being twice as expensive as the kebab in the same street, and even there, the meat is marinated!
Lower your prices by 30% and there will be some semblance of consistency.
Frankly, if you want to compare, go and taste the Second Empire salmon on rue du Renard, same price but real cuisine... What you suggested to me, a 10 year old child can do. Very disappointed, it's bad for the price.

04/04/2024: We recently tried pizza in Cafe di Roma and loved it.
The pizzas cost between 15-18 euros, which is fair for what you get. They're big enough for one person to enjoy without feeling hungry afterward.
The best thing about the pizzas is how fresh they are. They have good vegetarian options as well.
The service is quick and friendly. Even when it's busy, they get your order to you fast.
One thing to remember is that this place can get really busy. When we went, there was a line. So, it's a good idea to book ahead if you don't want to wait.
Overall, it is a great spot for pizza in Paris. The food is tasty, the prices are fair, and you'll leave with a full belly and a smile.

29/09/2023: The concept of small format pizzas is great for those with a small stomach and the prices are affordable (€6.90 per pizza). I knew the Matteo of the Grands Boulevards but not this one. The quality of the ingredients is always there! And the waitress was so smiling and attentive! Le Matteo de Madeleine, on the other hand, mainly offers take-out (but there are still two small tables outside). I will go back there !

Their services are terrible. It would help if you did not go to this place. I strongly do not recommend it.

31/03/2024: We were overwhelmed by all the options in Honfleur so we decided to eat dinner at this local pizza place. Absolutely delicious! We got 3 pizzas and ciders and loved it all. There are very few seats in the restaurant but the couple that ran it were so kind. Bring cash if you can.
08/03/2024: Very good, excellent Italian, top pizzas.
The downside is the noise, it's difficult to hear yourself speak.

05/04/2024: Visiting Maxime's in Paris is like stepping into a classic painting, though the prices might make you think you're funding a new wing of the Louvre. It's a place where one half expects Toulouse-Lautrec to critique the cost of dining with his characteristic wit. Yet, the wine list is a delightful journey through vineyards that almost justifies the bill.

30/03/2024: My visit to Guise Trattoria in Paris was a delightful culinary adventure. The pizza was absolutely delicious, featuring a perfect crust and just the right balance of toppings. However, it was the gnocchi that stole the show - each bite was heavenly, making it a dish I'll remember for a long time. Service throughout our meal was commendable, with attentive staff ensuring a pleasant dining experience. Although there was a small hiccup when my son's request for a second Coke Zero was overlooked, the overall quality of food and the warm atmosphere more than made up for this minor oversight. Guise Trattoria has proven to be a standout choice for those craving authentic Italian cuisine in the heart of Paris.
30/03/2024: So perhaps we were wrong but firstly the eggplant mille-feuille was cold we sent it back it came back and when we cut it it was dry and bland a dish to heat basically the truffle legs don't have no taste and too much cream and the worst we were served the squid in a chipped plate, Otherwise in terms of service it was impeccable it's a nice restaurant the atmosphere was special mention for the bartender Axel nice meeting, In short we We are disappointed, we had a lot of expectations.
