10/10/2026: Booking for a table was easy. Once inside it is a very nice and modern restaurant. Menu ordering is on a tablet ans lists the allergens. Waitress was attentive and explained everything.
The food was very good, the meals come with salad, rice, and soup.

19/09/2026: Fantastic welcome, the service was fast (faster than a fast-food restaurant). I had a Taboki sushi pop, the taste was simply incredible, and so was my girlfriend's meal (menu C, vinegared rice). Completely satisfied, we 100% recommend it!!!

11/10/2026: This restaurant is run by French and Japanese people. We ordered eel rice, beef rice, dumplings, and udon noodles. The food was quite authentically Japanese. The service was so-so; the waitress was somewhat smiling, but the Japanese owner (I think) just seemed indifferent. We left without even a greeting. The location is pretty good; you can enjoy the river view and watch the people passing by on the bridge while you eat.
11/10/2026: This was our second visit to Mikado. The atmosphere was simple but pleasant. The food was good, although not everything on the menu was available. A shame.
However, there was a major drawback.
The service was pleasant, but we were bothered by the waitress's strong body odor. She was friendly and attentive, but frankly, this lack of personal hygiene bothered us and somewhat spoiled our experience.

21/08/2026: I'm counting calories, and an app found this restaurant after scanning my order. These avocado sushi were within my very low daily limit. The fish was good and fresh without any diet taste. The service is quick in this simple setting.

16/08/2026: Very good, but disappointed by the hygiene and Uber Eats!
The food was very good, but I was unpleasantly surprised to find two hairs when I opened my order. As a result, I couldn't finish it and had to throw away the affected items. To make matters worse, Uber Eats is refusing to give me a refund. This is unacceptable in terms of hygiene and customer service. A real shame.

10/09/2026: Nothing negative to say about the staff. Very friendly welcome.
However, regarding the ambiance, please, change your soundtrack. An hour of bossa nova in the elevator is exhausting. A little more lighting to see our plates wouldn't go amiss. As for the food, the edamame arrived half-thawed... The lukewarm beans were very good, but underneath were beans with ice still on them. A little extra time in the microwave would have been welcome. Regarding my dish, stir-fried noodles with shrimp and vegetables, I was disappointed to have only 4 shrimp lost in overly greasy and salty noodles.
My husband, who ordered the eel with rice, found the sauce too sweet and the rice too dry, as if it had been cooked that morning and had dried out a bit.
As a result, we weren't tempted to order dessert... We left quite early. Overall, we were disappointed with our evening, we will not be returning.

28/07/2026: I ordered delivery through Uber Eats, so I can only rate the food.
The tuna looked strange and smelled bad. Clearly overcooked. The salmon wasn't bad, but it wasn't fresh either. The maki rolls were clearly made by someone very amateurish and careless. Irregular, rough cuts and poorly sealed with seaweed. The rice was also too sticky. Even the ginger leaves had a strange, slimy color.
The tempura was soggy, indicating it had been fried a long time ago.
We expect to get sick.
I don't recommend it. Anyone who handles raw food should be responsible to their customers.

13/08/2026: A superb discovery on Avenue des Vosges. We had a very pleasant time at this restaurant. The quality of the ingredients is truly remarkable, and everything was delicious.
The presentation of the dishes is exquisite, like the incredibly fresh salmon sashimi. I also really appreciated the variety of side dishes on the platter; it was a real treat for the eyes and the taste buds. A must-try for Japanese food lovers in Strasbourg.
