09/08/2026: Overall, average, with quick and efficient service. However, the experience was more mixed regarding the food. The salad, while generously portioned, remained very classic and sorely lacked character. Even with the amount of dressing provided, the whole thing was rather bland and undercooked. It was more of a heavy salad plate than a truly refined dish. The rib-eye steak, on the other hand, was disappointing in terms of both cooking and texture. The meat was particularly difficult to cut and quite firm, with a cooking level that didn't quite match expectations. It's worth noting, however, that the portion size was particularly generous and appreciated. The burgers fared better: they were decent and fairly satisfying, without being particularly memorable. In fact, they were the dish I enjoyed the most during the meal. The service was adequate. The dining room, however, was quite noisy, which can quickly detract from the comfort and conviviality of the meal. Finally, the main problem remains the value for money. The bill seems particularly high considering the quality and level of refinement offered on the plate. At this price, one has the right to expect more skill, precision, and personality.

21/08/2026: We've already been to Soan's for a meal, and the food is excellent! The value for money is perfect. We went another time, on a Thursday evening, for a drink. It was 6:45 pm, and we asked to be seated inside because, with a baby, we didn't want the smell of cigarettes, so we couldn't be inside. We asked about the cocktail of the day, but the waitress didn't know, went to check, and told us they were out. We asked if it was possible to order a small snack, like samosas or something, but that wasn't possible either because the kitchen doesn't open until 7:30 pm… We'll probably come back for a meal, but if it's just for a drink and a snack, we'll go somewhere else. It's a shame…

21/08/2026: Excellent place for lunch at your own pace (quick or leisurely). Fast service and helpful advice. We opted for a tray (shaped like a plate) of sliced ​​red meat and an Asian dish. Very reasonable price. I highly recommend it.

25/07/2026: This restaurant is very well located, perfect for a break while visiting Blois. The atmosphere is pleasant, and the service was excellent from the moment we arrived, with very attentive and friendly staff. The focaccia was a real surprise. It was spectacular, with incredibly fluffy bread, fresh ingredients, and lots of flavor. You can tell they put a lot of care into preparing their dishes. Furthermore, the quality-price ratio is very good, which is always appreciated in such a touristy area. Without a doubt, this is a highly recommended restaurant, and we would definitely return if we come back to Blois.

15/07/2026: A very good crêperie, unexpectedly found on this quiet little street. The menu isn't extensive, which is all the better: just high-quality homemade crêpes and generous portions. The restaurant is tiny but pleasant, and the service is excellent. The atmosphere was remarkably calm on a weekday evening, which isn't surprising. Parking along the Loire is free at lunchtime and in the evening.

27/05/2026: Maison Tatami restaurant is simply excellent, it's so delicious! Everything we tasted was perfect: from the appetizer of soup and coleslaw, to the rice, gyoza, and chicken stir-fried noodles. A true delight from start to finish. In addition, the staff is incredibly kind. The service is both pleasant and very fast. I recommend it 100%!

11/07/2026: Excellent Italian restaurant in Blois. The "Triangulo Tatufo" pasta, accompanied by an Italian rosé, was superb. The shaded terrace is very pleasant. They accept Edenred restaurant vouchers.

17/06/2026: I booked a room for one night at this hotel. It's comfortable! The staff were very friendly. The decor in the common areas is a bit kitschy, but the rooms are quite modern! I had everything I needed. There are a few restaurants within walking distance, which is nice. And you can charge your electric vehicle at Tesla charging stations in nearby parking lots. I had a good night's sleep, and I recommend it (the only downside is that the location isn't ideal).

14/06/2026: The room was comfortable and pleasant, thanks in particular to its recent renovation. However, the hallways and breakfast room could also use a refresh. Breakfast was varied and featured local products, which was a nice touch.

The food wasn't very spicy, the staff couldn't be understood (neither English nor French) and they obviously didn't enjoy their job at all, as if they were annoyed that we even came. Not worth a visit.

11/08/2026: Dinner on the spacious terrace overlooking the castle. Fast and attentive service. I recommend the tempura john dory, which is very good. Reservations are recommended, especially during high season.
