26/07/2026: I'm giving it 5 stars, but I wasn't able to try the bakery, as it was closed on Sunday, July 26th. We would have loved to hear about their specialties.

30/06/2026: We're talking about THE bakery in Blois. And yes, everything is absolutely fantastic. The bread and baguettes are truly excellent and keep very well. The prices are average. The service is outstanding, with really friendly staff. Let's be honest, it's hard to find better in town. That's coming from a baguette lover. 😉🥖

25/05/2026: Spacious room with good quality bedding. The area is quiet, so no disturbances during the night! We will definitely stay another night on one of our next trips to Blois.

01/03/2026: We can't say anything about the restaurant service, it was exceptional! I feel sorry for the staff, as they were very helpful and kind. It seems like there are two separate departments. But the room! You shouldn't be allergic to dust! On the other hand, the bathroom was very clean! The hotel is a bit dated. We found stains on the sheets! We do recommend the restaurant, though.

23/04/2026: Blois, the first stop on the May road trip along the Loire. The place isn't anything special, but it's a real eye-catcher from the outside. 😘 Inside, the food is amazing - steaks, snails, and steak tartare... First-class steaks! Being in France and not trying snails? Everyone should definitely try it! Baked veal sweetbreads - yum, what a texture! Soft, velvety meat. You can tell they've perfected it. So delicious, it's a shame to skip dessert. Don't judge a book by its cover. You could easily pass by this place and just ignore it.

The all-you-can-eat buffet is amazing, with a wide variety of dishes and delicious flavors – you can really taste the authentic Portuguese flavors we love! 😍 The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming! I highly recommend it and we'll definitely be back! Thank you for everything!

22/07/2026: Enjoyed the exceptionally delicious tarte tatin, the house specialty. We had never tasted one so good before. Friendly service and good coffee. Highly recommended!

21/07/2026: Your ice creams are terrible, with hair inside to hold everything together, the cone breaks, and when we point it out you don't care, you practically ask us to eat the ice cream that fell off the table.

03/08/2026: We had a super delicious meal here! We had the steak tartare, which was incredibly flavorful, and the fries were very tasty. Freshly cut, it wasn't minced meat like you sometimes get. The duck was tasty with delicious vegetables, maybe a little too tough, but otherwise a tasty dish. The service was top-notch; they were very quick and friendly. For dessert, we highly recommend the profiteroles and café nougat!! Incredibly delicious.

29/07/2026: We thoroughly enjoyed all the dishes, and the welcome was warm. However, we found it a shame that the wait between courses was so long, and that sauce wasn't offered directly with the side dishes (or only as an extra charge).

18/08/2026: We stopped in Blois, and given the general reputation of Bouillon restaurants, we went in without hesitation. We were very warmly welcomed by the waitress. The street-side terrace isn't very inviting; it's dirty, but the interior is quite nice. What a disappointment when my Caesar salad arrived! The eggs were green, the chicken was supposedly fried—oh my god, it looked like foam, like it had been reconstituted—and as for the salad, the leaves were black. It's shameful to serve this! Avoid at all costs!!!

17/08/2026: The only positive point: the service. The food was completely subpar. The portions were tiny. The risotto was basically just plain white rice with a splash of sauce. The menu claims it's homemade, but I highly doubt it. €60 for this...and no compensation whatsoever. Avoid at all costs.

11/06/2026: Yesterday my friend and I stopped at Patapain and the waitress named Liha was smiling and very welcoming.

29/07/2026: Good food, at least this one. Prices were normal, even good, being downtown. Shame about the service! I don't want to think they treated us badly, just because we were Italian. A second course we wanted after the pasta arrived together. Asked for water three times, three times for bread. Clearing the table, but never! Not even asking if we wanted anything. 15 minutes for dessert from the children's menu. 15 minutes for the bill. More than 2 hours to eat one course. I gave it 1 star for the atmosphere (though not their fault) because we were surrounded by smokers, and even though the little girl kept coughing, the smoke was still there. Shame. Obviously, we changed restaurants the other 3 nights!!!

23/08/2026: The upstairs terrace is pleasant and the pizzas are good. However, the cocktails were a huge disappointment: the Chambord spritz was flat, not sparkling, and tasted more like grenadine than the liqueur I know so well. The waiter was only marginally friendly. And the owner was rude to his employees; it was very inappropriate.

12/11/2025: We are disappointed with the afternoon opening hours; 3 pm is not teatime! Previously, we could enjoy delicious hot chocolates until early evening. It's a shame, because this place is very pleasant and welcoming, and there aren't many like it in downtown Blois. Would it be possible to reconsider your opening hours? Thank you very much.

09/05/2026: I've had delivery several times to the ibis city center Blois hotel. Delivery 10/10! The Kebab and Escalope sandwiches are delicious 10/10 ❤️
