09/06/2026: There's so many pastry and chocolate shops in France. This is one of my favorites. It's very centrally located and has such a large offering of pastries and chocolates that it's impossible not to find something you would love. I lived in the town for an entire month and I would stop here once a day.

28/05/2026: We stopped in Blois between visiting Loire Valley castles for lunch and were fortunate that our tour guide recommended Poivre et Sel. What a great find. The charming outdoor patio was a perfect lunch setting, and the salads we ordered were absolutely delicious - rich, fresh, and very satisfying, especially paired with an excellent Belgian Trappist beer. Dessert was superb, and honestly, it was the best lunch I had during the entire week. Service was friendly, unpretentious, fast, and flawless. Highly recommended if you happen to be in Blois.

29/06/2026: We tried to eat there on June 27th. The waiters moved us to different tables three times, only to finally serve us hot cocktails without ice and low-quality food. The staff was unpleasant, except for one young student who was sorry about our experience. In short, it was so bad that we had to eat somewhere else.

28/06/2026: Passing through Blois with friends, we decided to stop for a drink and some ice cream. We sat wherever we could find a table that hadn't been cleared. The waitress, who wasn't at all friendly, asked us to pass her our glasses when she could have gone around and cleared them herself. She also hadn't cleaned the tables. When our ice cream order arrived, it was practically melted. The wait was also very long. I was very disappointed with this place, which otherwise seemed pleasant on this pretty square. I don't recommend it.

16/06/2026: Nothing extraordinary, in my opinion. I was expecting more flavor from my "revisited" cordon bleu. Supposedly shredded, but just a chicken breast. However, a major red card for the toilet hygiene 😡 Disgusting tiles and a smell of urine. I hope the kitchen isn't in the same state.

09/05/2026: I've had delivery several times to the ibis city center Blois hotel. Delivery 10/10! The Kebab and Escalope sandwiches are delicious 10/10 ❤️

12/11/2025: We are disappointed with the afternoon opening hours; 3 pm is not teatime! Previously, we could enjoy delicious hot chocolates until early evening. It's a shame, because this place is very pleasant and welcoming, and there aren't many like it in downtown Blois. Would it be possible to reconsider your opening hours? Thank you very much.

15/06/2026: The people of Blois miss this restaurant! I remain a loyal customer of this family-run establishment! It's not easy to find such a warm and welcoming restaurant in the city center!

14/06/2026: We had a confirmed reservation a few days ago. Upon arrival, we were told it was closed! And for good reason: an administrative closure, which I saw in the press today. The neighboring restaurant, "Poivre et Sel," is in the same boat—same manager for both, so clearly the same problem warrants an administrative closure. This is very serious and should be avoided at all costs!

24/05/2026: For Chicken Tek There are places we frequent, and others where we leave a part of ourselves. Chicken Tek is one of those. Tenders, wings, rolls… it might seem ordinary to those who just look at it from afar. But they don't know what lies behind certain habits. They don't know what a flavor can hold when it accompanies years of life. How many tired evenings have been saved by a simple, still-warm bag placed on the table. How many conversations, silences, and dreams shared between bites. How many times has that familiar aroma made a day less burdensome. And even when the prices go up, we still come back. Because some things retain their soul. Because you can still feel the care behind each order. The quality hasn't betrayed the memory. The wings still have that tender intensity of spices that you can recognize with your eyes closed. The tenders still have that almost comforting crispness. And the rolls… the rolls have something timeless about them, like an old piece of music you never tire of listening to. Deep down, it's perhaps not just about food. It's a place that has unknowingly been a part of our lives. A discreet setting of cherished memories. So thank you. Thank you for staying true to yourself. Thank you for this rare consistency. And thank you for all those moments when, without making a fuss, you made life a little bit better.

30/06/2026: Located opposite the train station, so it's quite convenient. I came in for a coffee before catching my train. However, the young woman at the till was rather unpleasant, even grumpy; a shame for customers starting their day (and for the shopkeeper). But hey, I got my coffee, that's the main thing. (P.S.: You can't pay by card if your purchase is less than 6 euros).

07/06/2026: I was particularly disappointed by the lack of humanity shown by this establishment. Refusing tap water to a cyclist in the sweltering heat is unacceptable, especially since we were paying customers (over €20 spent). A local shop should be a place for social interaction and mutual respect, not just a cash register. A little empathy would have been appreciated.

29/05/2026: Passing through for training, the center is right next door, so convenient! A very warm welcome, especially for a group of 10! The food was perfectly satisfactory (honestly, the Caesar salad was just perfect!). The desserts are excellent, and the atmosphere is calm but pleasant. I recommend it! 😊
