08/09/2024: Not cool, during our stay, we want to take advantage of one last moment to drink a coffee on the terrace, the manager, a man of a certain age, comes and goes and after 30 minutes no hello from him, not friendly, turns away customers to say that the tables are reserved for eating, so we left and had a coffee at SOAN, fast service, friendly finally thanks to the waitress at SOAN

07/09/2024: Food: Quantity good, quality average. On the terrace next to water jets and the road.

20/09/2024: Catastrophic service...deplorable reception, we barely even looked at us. A lot of waiting between each dish. Very, very bad value for money, we can't even talk about quality... flee! Absolutely.

20/09/2024: It was a very disappointing experience. I trusted the ratings on Google Maps and Trip Advisor and failed. Appetizers and salads were good. The main courses were terrible. The burger was overcooked: the meat was dry (but not medium rare, as ordered), the brioche was burnt. The shish kebab (brochette de filet) was raw on the inside and burnt on the outside (see photo). The duck was tough, dry, the skin was burnt. Why did you ask for doneness? It seems the chef forgot about the dishes after taking a smoke break. The waiter is a very nice girl who doesn't speak English. This is absolutely no problem. The problem is the manner with which she served us. For the first time in a long time I didn't leave a 10% tip.

12/08/2024: We spent two nights there with two small dogs, pleasant hotel, always smiling staff There was a problem with our reservation and a solution was found. We found the room clean. The pool is not very warm but very clean. And the breakfasts are super complete and local 👍 THANKS

12/08/2024: We had booked 2 nights. Arrival possible from 3 p.m. At 4:30 p.m. our room was just ready: not so ready after all... vacuum cleaner not done, dirty floors on carpet and bathroom not swept (hair from previous tenants!) In addition, the sheets were wet (not damp, wet) + dirt on the walls and toilets. Ok it’s not a palace but it’s called hygiene. We mentioned it to an unfriendly cleaning lady who was in the corridor who replied “it’s normal it’s Saturday and on Saturday we wash the laundry at the hotel but it will dry.” We might as well tell you that we left the windows open to avoid sleeping in wet sheets in the evening… Concerning breakfast, choice ok, but what a mess. Very noisy, something was always missing (they brought the plates and bowls 3 by 3!) I recommend before 8am! SYSTEMATIC room card problem. Forced to re-magnetize the card every time we left it. Pool area ok but 6 deckchairs for the capacity of the hotel is a little light… For 2 nights we will say that it did the trick.

25/09/2024: This little cafe at the top of the Denis Papin steps serves beautiful home-cooked food that makes you wish you had one in your hometown

18/09/2024: Great place for a coffee stop with a characteristic French atmosphere. Very nice.

02/09/2024: the salad bar is a very nice addition. the choice is varied and the service, as always, is very fast and pleasant.
