The Welcome and Atmosphere As soon as you step through the door at 15 Avenue du Général de Gaulle, you're instantly transported to Italy. The welcome from Pietro and Corinne is both warm and genuine. The atmosphere is friendly and unpretentious, and watching the pizzas being prepared right in front of you adds a real charm to the experience. The restaurant is pleasant, well-air-conditioned in the summer, and even has a small terrace. On the Plate: Quality and Generosity Lovers of authentic Italian-Sicilian cuisine will not be disappointed. The Pizzas: The dough is excellent, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. You can tell the ingredients are fresh and carefully selected (a beautiful blend of products sourced directly from Italy and producers in the Lot-et-Garonne region). The Pasta: The portions are particularly generous (you'll need a good appetite to make it to dessert!). Everything is homemade with a genuine passion for flavor. Value for Money This is one of Casa Pietro's major strengths. The prices are very reasonable considering the quality offered. The lunch menu (main course + dessert + coffee) at around €17 is a real bargain. Bonus: the 10% discount on takeaway orders is very welcome after a long day at work. Practical Information to Keep in Mind Please note, however, that the restaurant is only open from Thursday to Saturday (lunch and dinner). The price of success and quality means the dining room fills up quickly, so I highly recommend booking your table in advance. The restaurant is also fully accessible to people with reduced mobility (PRM). In Conclusion Whether you're just passing through Villeneuve-sur-Lot or a regular in the area, Casa Pietro is a must-visit if you're looking for generous and authentic Italian cuisine. I'll definitely be back!

28/02/2026: Fantastic restaurant! Everything is delicious, you can really taste the spices! Generous portions, you leave feeling completely full! A little bonus: the generous and delicious pink, banana, and mango lassis, perfect for finishing the meal. The staff is very welcoming! I come back almost every month. One of my favorite restaurants in Villeneuve!

15/02/2026: Valentine's Day dinner, only one set menu, but the dishes were very good. The chef forgot to wash the leeks, as there were grains of sand (dirt) in the leek soup. The service was poor; the waiters took 10 minutes to offer us champagne, there was no water (we had to ask for it), and the amuse-bouche was missing. We waited 30 minutes for the starter to arrive and had to ask for the amuse-bouche again. There was no organization whatsoever. The rest of the meal was fine, except that I didn't get the dessert I wanted because they had run out, even though we had ordered in advance. They only offered me crème brûlée, which is unacceptable. There weren't that many customers; they only serve one meal for everyone, but they can't manage the quantity or properly estimate the number of desserts. Furthermore, we waited at least 20 minutes between courses. We had our most disastrous meal, especially for Valentine's Day.

11/12/2025: Extremely disappointed. I went to buy a Savoyard pizza. Honestly, I don't understand how anyone can give these pizzas good reviews. There was only dough, almost no topping, a bit of ham here and there, and as for cheese, forget about it. It had absolutely nothing to do with the name "Savoyard" at €13 a pizza. They're even better at Leclerc. This is the last time I'll go there; it was awful.
