03/04/2024: Things have changed a lot in recent times. Our last two orders made us sick, the first one we let doubt pass. The second one well we won't order anymore.

24/02/2024: We ordered the pizzas by phone on the way to the vacation before arriving at our stopover Friday evening. Very good telephone reception and a very warm welcome on arrival. The pizzas were good and well garnished, the size consistent with what we had chosen. Thank you Pizza minute! The Lille family.

31/03/2024: Already, very warm welcome, from start to finish. And it's becoming so rare that it must be emphasized. Impeccable starters, personally on the main course I would have liked a chicken a bit more cooked. Impeccable desserts. Really good time with a couple who enjoyed talking about their products and their culture. Very good experience.

03/03/2024: A great place where we ate very well. The welcome was warm and smiling. If I am in Chalons again I will return there without hesitation

03/04/2024: So, how to rate this 3 star hotel, because it is not near a 4 star hotel, maybe back in the 90's they could have gotten away with it. To start with the room. It is outdated but clean. But most of all pretty small. A double superior room should not measure only 10 square meters. The bed was made but with the linnen inside out. The bathroom is outdated ( extremely ), which is strange for a "SPA" hotel. The minibar was empty and the towels replaced even after I hung them up to re use them again. Also not 2024 at all. Oh and if you want a massage in this so called "SPA" hotel, you need to book that minimum 2 weeks up front. Kinda ridiculous. Check in was with minimum amount of information (breakfast starts at 7 AM and your room number is 107, it is on the first floor). First of all; do not mention a room number outloud in a reception/bar where everybody can hear and see that I am traveling alone and some more information would have been appreciated. On top the room is extremely noisy. You can hear people walking / running in the hallway and above you and right outside the window of room 107 is the smoking area so if you have your window open all the smoke comes inside your room. As said before; a 3 star hotel (barely), not close to a 4 star hotel. Hotel personnel is very friendly but not all are well educated in how you check someone in.

29/03/2024: BE CAREFUL about the prices charged at the bar!! At 3€ for a "hazelnut coffee", I have just found the most expensive place in France (apart from hotels, large chains whose bar is more of a private lounge with a cozy atmosphere..) IN PARIS, and in Cannes or St Trop, hazelnut coffee is much cheaper... Goodbye Châlons which no longer feels...

05/09/2023: An attempt at a Northern fry shack restaurant, except that the prices and practices are far, far from the mark. In the North, you are the one who tells the waiter about the quantity of fries in your sandwich, here the fries are worth gold, I imagine that the profitability rate of this product must have been 400%!!
