12/05/2024: Came by chance for lunch one afternoon and we didn't regret it. Firstly, the location (we were on the terrace) is very pleasant on the Place Petionne of the town hall. Secondly, the staff is friendly and professional. Tercio, the food is very correct in the brasserie style and the prices are reasonable. In conclusion you can settle down 😀

30/03/2024: Being a former apprentice of this so-called chic and high quality restaurant, know that it is quite the opposite.. when the chef arrives drunk and the boss according to him it is normal from time to time it happens to him that the employees do not try not to teach you but to use you like a dog.. I didn't even last a week there I already couldn't take it anymore. Lots of lies and no agreements.
24/03/2024: Superb lunch at Caudalies, the team was innovative in creating a vegetarian menu for my mother and 100% plant-based for me. What a joy to have lunch in a restaurant where the staff knows how to adapt to plant-based food by creating delicious dishes. Their kindness made this lunch very pleasant. See you soon Caudalies!

20/03/2024: A nice little local restaurant who is capable of welcoming our group of 18 people, reservation and choice of menu needs to be done before hand of course. Food was delicious, staff was friendly but the service was a bit slow.
20/03/2024: Very warm welcome, the cuisine is excellent with good products.
For my part, the service was OK.
Making reservations is recommended.

03/04/2024: So, how to rate this 3 star hotel, because it is not near a 4 star hotel, maybe back in the 90's they could have gotten away with it.
To start with the room. It is outdated but clean. But most of all pretty small. A double superior room should not measure only 10 square meters. The bed was made but with the linnen inside out. The bathroom is outdated ( extremely ), which is strange for a "SPA" hotel. The minibar was empty and the towels replaced even after I hung them up to re use them again. Also not 2024 at all.
Oh and if you want a massage in this so called "SPA" hotel, you need to book that minimum 2 weeks up front. Kinda ridiculous.
Check in was with minimum amount of information (breakfast starts at 7 AM and your room number is 107, it is on the first floor). First of all; do not mention a room number outloud in a reception/bar where everybody can hear and see that I am traveling alone and some more information would have been appreciated.
On top the room is extremely noisy. You can hear people walking / running in the hallway and above you and right outside the window of room 107 is the smoking area so if you have your window open all the smoke comes inside your room.
As said before; a 3 star hotel (barely), not close to a 4 star hotel.
Hotel personnel is very friendly but not all are well educated in how you check someone in.
29/03/2024: BE CAREFUL about the prices charged at the bar!!
At 3€ for a "hazelnut coffee", I have just found the most expensive place in France (apart from hotels, large chains whose bar is more of a private lounge with a cozy atmosphere..)
IN PARIS, and in Cannes or St Trop, hazelnut coffee is much cheaper...
Goodbye Châlons which no longer feels...

The welcome is pleasant.
My recommendation would be to improve the presentation of the plates, to be at the top level 🧆
