04/01/2026: Disappointed – would not return Unfortunately, our experience at Le Pirat was very poor. We ordered a skate wing and asked for it to be cooked in olive oil instead of butter. Instead, it was simply boiled in water with no spices and placed on top of Spanish rice. The dish was not appealing at all and did not taste good. On top of that, we paid 70 euros for two portions, which is completely unreasonable for such low quality food. The restaurant itself does not look clean and feels very worn down. The bathroom was really dirty, and the place had an unpleasant smell of fried food. It is sad that the owner does not take proper care of the restaurant. The only positive thing is the view, as it is located right by the water. Other than that, I would definitely not return to this place.

31/12/2025: Defrosted paella, bruschetta on dry white bread, a burger with just a bun and a patty, and "seasonal vegetables" that looked like they came from a can of ratatouille. We watched the cook come in and out, then come back in with his Casino supermarket bag full of non-fresh produce. On top of that, they messed up our order and forgot our starter. I usually leave good reviews, but this is unbelievable.

20/09/2024: This restaurant was unbelievably amazing. The food, service, and the chef himself were all so great. We were treated to one of the best meals I have ever had in my life and the chef came out and spoke with us and suggested the dessert. It was so fresh and light and even though I was so full from the best steak I have ever had with sauce and potatoes that were otherworldly I am so glad we added dessert. We had the artichoke appetizer which had a ginger broth that was unlike anything I have ever tasted and will remember forever. Service was prompt and kind with great suggestions made. Truly an amazing experience and would recommend again and again. I will be back every time I come to Nice.

20/09/2024: Nous recommandons fortement ce restaurant Tout y est fait maison . La qualité des produit est exceptionnelle. Le thon méditerranéen aux légumes niçois, cuisson parfaite, le pigeon, un regal. Greg le serveur est très sympathique. Nous y retourneront beaucoup plus souvent
