31/08/2026: Venue booked for my husband's surprise 40th birthday party. What can I say? Exceptional! A dedicated social area, an excellent buffet with more than enough portions! The owner was incredibly kind, attentive, and very accommodating. Everyone was delighted, and as an added bonus, there was a concert at the restaurant that evening! In short, everything was perfect. I highly recommend it!

19/10/2026: Whilst staying at the nearby campsite we enjoyed a lovely tapas meal at La Garenne. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the food was tasty and the house wine was delicious. What more could we want!

18/10/2026: An exceptional experience by the water! We had the immense pleasure of having lunch here today as a family, with my wife and children, and what a wonderful discovery! Finally, a restaurant worthy of the name. From the very first moment, the welcome in the dining room was impeccable: we were greeted by an incredibly friendly and welcoming team. We immediately felt at ease! The setting is just as charming: a magnificent, wonderfully calm and shaded environment right by the water. It's simply splendid. As for the food, it's flawless from start to finish: truly homemade products (and in this case, really homemade!) with perfectly controlled cooking. The portions are generous, very hearty, and particularly well presented. And the best part? More than reasonable prices! Proof that excellence and generosity don't necessarily cost a fortune. To start, the mixed tapas platter to share was superb and very, very generous! For our main courses, we had the mixed grill (absolutely amazing!) and a duck breast for my wife, cooked to perfection. For the children, the kids' menu was fantastic, with real homemade nuggets (again, truly homemade!) accompanied by wonderful homemade fries. A real treat for them! And to finish on a high note, the desserts were to die for: a perfect homemade tiramisu and a gourmet coffee filled with only homemade sweets. A huge thank you to the whole team for this wonderful experience. Unbeatable value for money and quantity; we wholeheartedly recommend this place and will definitely be back!

09/05/2026: Absolutely excellent. The food: of very high quality. And sometimes, the chef manages to surprise us, taking us down unexpected paths. Add to that the fact that you'll always be guided through your choices, as the team takes pleasure in advising you. The setting: it's simple. Whether you walk there from the city center (10 minutes...) along the quays for a bucolic, almost pastoral stroll, or drive there (5 minutes...) to be practically immersed in the countryside, the change of scenery is complete. A moment outside of time. A Sunday in the country. Almost like a picnic by the water. All in a magnificent setting that immediately puts you in a state of total relaxation. The city, so close, is completely absent. In 10 minutes, you're somewhere else entirely. All that remains is the water, the birds, the trees, the sun, sometimes the wind, often the ducks. You are warmly welcomed. You are comfortably seated (it's a small thing, a silly detail, but so important...). You are well seated. You are well served. And it must be emphasized that, wherever you are seated—on the terrace by the lock, the canal, and the mill, in the veranda, or inside—you always enjoy a rare privilege these days: the space is not noisy. You can hear each other speak at your table, and at the same time, each table remains private, meaning that the neighboring table cannot hear what is being said at yours. It is very relaxing. You don't just come here to eat; you come here to experience and share a moment. With great simplicity. I don't know of any other place in Narbonne so carefully preserved, so attentive to your palate and your shared experience of the pleasure of dining.

The sandwich was fresh, the bread was good, and the filling was generous with real raw vegetables. It's so rare to find a sandwich that's so delicious. My wife's panini was also very good. Finally, the warm welcome and friendly service will make you a regular. A place to share! 🥰
