16/12/2025: A peaceful farmhouse, terrace overlooking the Bugarach mountain. The farmyard animals frolic in the grass, putting on a show. The set menu is €29, and we choose from several courses. A buffet of well-prepared charcuterie and crudités. House dish (boles de picoulat). Dessert (profiteroles). Aperitif with Maury wine, followed by a meal with white wine. Three hours of dining and relaxation. It's a bit warm on the terrace; the curtains aren't up yet for the season. The chef makes a special effort with the presentation, adding small decorative touches and flavor combinations that are worth noting. You can sense his organization in his desire to serve all the guests in roughly the same order. Main courses for everyone, then desserts for everyone. There are only two of them, so they need to be methodical. The furniture and layout could use a touch of modernization (budget constraints, of course), but it's lush and full of flowers. We had a wonderful time during our two-wheeled tour of Bugarach and Rennes-le-Château. Limiting seating to around 20 people to prioritize quality over quantity, reservations are recommended. For groups, the farm indicated they can accommodate larger groups with prior booking, similar to classic car club outings. Parking is available on the property. I will definitely return. Thank you to this young couple.

12/11/2025: Excellent. We had lunch as a group and thoroughly enjoyed it. The €29 set menu is truly delicious and generous. The starter buffet, cassoulet, and profiteroles were all very plentiful and flavorful. I highly recommend it. The dining room is lovely, and the terrace is also very pleasant. They don't accept cards.

09/04/2026: The welcome was very warm, and we were sheltered from the stubborn tramontane wind; thank goodness for the marquee! The varied and delicious starter platter was devoured by our hungry mouths. The owner, showing his curiosity, insisted on introducing us to a Greek wine, a retsina, which paired perfectly with the seafood and cheeses on the initial platter. A wonderful succession of dishes followed, accompanied by a local Ventenac wine, and finally, desserts that managed to settle our heavy stomachs!

05/12/2025: I've eaten here several times now and I'm always delighted. The food is excellent, the atmosphere is fantastic, and the setting is truly superb. The themed evenings are really well thought out, and we have some wonderful nights out.

10/12/2025: A little gem. As someone who loves tagines, I wasn't disappointed (kefta/eggs), with a side of vegetables. Yum! My husband, who isn't usually a fan of this type of dish, practically drooled over my plate and promised to order it on our next visit. The welcome, service, and cleanliness were all top-notch. I recommend it 100%!

21/04/2026: A beautiful, historic site located on the banks of the Canal de la Robine. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Moulin de Gua is well worth a visit. Enjoy watching boats go by while dining on the outdoor terrace. This restaurant is tastefully decorated and offers refined and delicious cuisine. Free parking is available next to the restaurant, and overnight accommodation is also offered. I highly recommend this restaurant for a convivial and enjoyable experience.

18/04/2026: A truly wonderful discovery on the banks of the Canal de la Robine 🌿 This restaurant, taken over a few months ago by Chef Mickael, is definitely worth a visit. The setting is simply exceptional, right by the lock, with a peaceful atmosphere that invites you to disconnect. As for the cuisine, it's top-notch: fresh, local, and seasonal produce, expertly prepared. The €30 lunch menu (starter, main course, dessert) with two choices at each course offers excellent value. A more elaborate menu is also available for €40. Special mention goes to the fish, cooked to perfection in its pearly white state, and to the chocolate dessert… absolutely remarkable. The chef's experience, gained in prestigious establishments like La Table de Saint Crescent and La Cantine d’Anatole, is evident in the dishes: sincere, generous cuisine, without unnecessary frills. Finally, the service is impeccable: attentive, friendly, and perfectly in keeping with the ambiance. An address I recommend without hesitation.

14/04/2026: The setting is rather rustic but welcoming, and the limited menu is a sign of quality. The chicken with peanut sauce was excellent, as was the burger with Fourme d'Ambert cheese and cherry! A great place, I recommend it!

13/01/2026: We had a wonderful time together! It was a weekday lunchtime and we booked almost at the last minute, yet the welcome was incredibly warm. The dishes were delicious, generously portioned, and beautifully presented. The restaurant has a cozy and pleasant atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing lunch for two. A truly wonderful experience that we can't wait to repeat!
