16/08/2026: We were lucky enough to attend a wedding this weekend that was catered by Mina Kouk. The food was delicious - truly spectacular. It was so fresh, never missed, and truly reflected the mixed heritage of the couple. More than anything, Mina and her team impressed me with their work ethic - they were hustling hard from morning to night, and you could tell they had a deep passion for the food and service they provide. They were also lovely people who blended in beautifully with the wedding guests, and made everyone feel welcome. I know my friends who planned the wedding enjoyed working with this team from start to finish, and I could absolutely see why as a guest. Merci encore!!

15/08/2026: We wholeheartedly recommend Mina Kouk! We entrusted her with the catering for our three-day wedding and were absolutely delighted, both by the quality of her cuisine and by the professionalism and kindness of her entire team. Mina provided us with invaluable support well before the wedding, particularly during the tasting, but also through her expert advice, recommendations, and regular follow-up throughout the entire planning process. We felt completely supported and confident from beginning to end. For our welcome reception and henna ceremony, Mina prepared a delicious couscous, accompanied by incredible appetizers and desserts. She also greatly assisted us with the decorations, helping to create exactly the warm and festive atmosphere we had envisioned. On the wedding day, the cocktail buffet was magnificent, generous, and delicious. The decoration and presentation of the buffet were particularly refined and truly beautiful: every detail had been tastefully considered, resulting in a dish that was both elegant and indulgent. Despite the intense heat, the staff ensured our guests always had plenty of water and delicious lemonades. Dinner was served piping hot to our 130 guests, featuring perfectly cooked fish. The wedding cake was so delicious that it was completely devoured, something we'd never seen at a wedding before. Mina even surprised us with a lovely treat by making crepes during the late-night bar: they were a huge hit! Throughout the wedding, Mina also took excellent care of us personally. She regularly checked in to make sure everything was alright and brought us food so we could fully enjoy every moment without forgetting anything. This thoughtful touch was especially valuable on a day that flew by! Finally, the brunch the following day was absolutely incredible and perfect after a long night of celebration. Special mention goes to the kebab, which was truly delicious! A huge thank you to Mina and her entire team for their professionalism, patience, availability, and incredible kindness over these three days. 20/05/2026: We went to La Rocha one weekday evening in the pouring Marseille rain. We were the only ones in the restaurant, but we had a wonderful time. The cuisine was high-quality oriental, featuring mezze. A member of the staff prepared the stuffed grape leaves by hand right in front of us. The portions were generous, and the price was more than reasonable for a restaurant at the start of the Corniche. The owner was very friendly. We'll definitely be back.

You can taste the expertise and passion in every dish: perfectly balanced spices, quality ingredients, and cooking made with love. 12/08/2026: If you're walking past the red circle, don't hesitate for a second and go in! Flank steak in a burger? Only Corsicans could have thought of that! A first for me, and what a treat… An explosion of pure bliss that banished my late-night blues. Sandra welcomed us like royalty with the utmost care. Save room for dessert, it's worth it! The setting is particularly pleasant, and the gentle breeze on your face during your after-dinner drink was the perfect ending to the evening. Thank you so much!

22/08/2026: After reading all these great reviews, my husband and I were so disappointed eating here. It felt like a terrible tourist trap, and while the owner was lovely, they didnt have any of the main dishes we wanted. The restaurant next to us was full of French diners, while ours was full of tourists. The wine was cheap but also not very good. I would not recommend sadly. It’s cash only, and the nearest tabac shop charges €5 per transaction (it’s not a machine but over the counter)

22/08/2026: A restaurant with a very nice decor. The food is excellent and the waitresses are very professional. This restaurant was a great find for us while we were on vacation in the area. I highly recommend it.

09/09/2026: Delicious vegetable tagine, enjoyed with tea, it was truly excellent. It's home-style cooking by Nassira, the lovely owner. I highly recommend it!

04/09/2026: Excellent welcome, friendly service, smiles, and attentive throughout the meal. The homemade couscous was very good and plentiful. The lady offered us delicious lemon and almond paste cakes with our mint tea. The menu had a good selection and reasonable prices. The Estrangin metro station is less than 10 minutes away, and tram line 3 is right next door. A truly great place to remember.

08/09/2026: ATIÉ Fares, a Var native, in love with Marseille, its "Bonne Mère" (Notre-Dame de la Garde basilica), the Abbey of Saint-Victor, and the "Mont Liban" (Mount Lebanon) on Rue Sainte. If Mr. Jean MM prefers to flee, good for him, and the farther away the better. "Flee this place for your health"—what is he talking about? He hasn't even eaten there. On the other hand, my family, my friends, and I have been coming to "Mont Liban" regularly for the past nine years, ever since my daughter arrived in Marseille for her university studies. We come for the visual pleasure, the authenticity and excellence of its cuisine, to savor its dishes, to enjoy its hospitality, and to treat our friends from the Var region who were waiting for our return with the specialties made in this typical little kiosk. NO ONE HAS EVER GOT SICK. I can accept that the premises are somewhat outdated, but there's a right way to do it. To unfairly attack the quality and freshness of the food without even tasting it, just to make oneself feel important, and to crucify a business and people who put their heart and soul into their work under the pretext of knowing people in the hygiene department is disproportionate, cowardly, and shameful. “Mont Liban,” I hope for a quick reopening, for the pleasure of our eyes, the delight of our taste buds, and the benefits for our health. See you very soon. I miss your food and your warm welcome.

15/08/2026: First time in Marseille, we chose the restaurant on a whim, and we weren't disappointed at all. The owner gave us a warm welcome, the decor was lovely, the service was top-notch, attentive from beginning to end, and the food was simply wow. Thank you for this wonderful experience.

14/08/2026: My wife and I had a remarkable dinner at Le Relais 50 on a recent weekend getaway trip to Marseille. We each opted for the 4-course menu (one seafood, one lamb), with wine pairings, but with amuse bouche, palate cleanser, and extra sweet treats, it was really like 7 courses. The food was creative as well as delicious. The small bread balls made from yesterday's bread scraps and seasoned with Ras el Hanout were fantastic, as was the chef's take on shakshuka. (Most of the shakshuka I've had is more rustic, heavy on red peppers, and with whole eggs. His refined, green pepper-centric version with an egg yolk was sublime. As many reviews have noted, we saw a lot of the chef, who introduced every course tableside. His skill and passion comes through, adding to the feeling of hospitality. (We also learned of his Instagram feed and now follow him there.) Unfortunately we picked an extremely hot weekend to go so sitting on the terrace was not as comfortable as it could be (and the street noise was more than I expected). However, we still had an incredible dining experience and are sure to return on our next visit to the city.

08/09/2026: To be honest, it didn't appeal to me at all; it's free but nothing special. Next door is the history museum, which we didn't go into because we ran out of time.

21/05/2026: They didn't refund my deposit, claiming there were more than two of us, which I disagree with because the deposit is meant to cover the cost of replacing something broken by a competitor. We left the room spotless; we even smoked outside so it wouldn't smell in the room. They're clearly after your money; on their website, you can choose to have rose petals put on the bed for €30, but here's a little tip: they already have rose petals in the bar. You can put them there yourself, saving you €30. I find it absurd to charge so much for a service that's already included in the room price.

14/05/2026: We stayed in the Antigua suite and what a change of scenery! The welcome (whether by phone, upon arrival, or during our stay) was fantastic. The young woman (sorry, I don't have her name) was very attentive and concerned about our comfort. The place was impeccably clean, and the heated pool at 35°C was wonderful. Restaurants and the beach are nearby for enjoying the fresh air. We truly had a wonderful time. The place lives up to its promises! Go for it!

03/09/2026: I am delighted that we went here for lunch. We arrived just after 1200 and do not have a reservation. It was not busy YET! The extraordinary experience begins the moment you enter the restaurant. I love the vibe. Then you wait to be given the menu. What’s available is presented by the owner. He does this whenever customer’s arrive. You must listen and listen very well! I noticed that it is a three person operation so it might take a little longer for orders to arrive. I can wait all afternoon as I was enjoying the experience. It is situated at a busy intersection yet there is no traffic noise. A must visit when in Marseille. Merci
