10/01/2026: Algerian hospitality: I arrived having forgotten my money. The owner offered me tea without asking for anything. I'll pay him in a few days. Admirable. I felt like I was in Algeria, in this naturally welcoming country. Thank you 👍🇩🇿

12/09/2024: Veggie bowl chosen. Little taste, strange humus and mainly salad, carrots and cucumber with an unrecognizable brown dressing on top.

08/09/2024: A well deserved 5 Stars for the Emilie & the cool kids team in Lille. The girl who looked after us spoke perfect English and was very friendly. The full story is we went there looking for French crepes (they don't serve them if you're wondering - Bagel / United States style menu); she was very friendly and made recommendations on where to go, but despite roaming around the area, we came back to Emilie's as we weren't convinced by nothing else. Staff got an extra chair and managed to seat us out as it was a sunny morning and had two great bagels. Full transparency: price/quantity ratio is a bit low, but food was good and staff fantastic, so worth it.

06/09/2024: The pastéis de nata are excellent.

05/09/2024: The Pastéis de nata were the best I have ever eaten. The exterior was nice and crispy and the cinnamon went well with the other cream ingredients. The welcome was warm from all the staff.

13/08/2024: Tranquille et dépaysant. Nous avons beaucoup aimé! C'est frais, un peu régressif et adapté aux familles. Belle découverte!

10/08/2024: C’est bon c’est frais, l’accueil et le service est agréable et souriant. On y a découvert des plats s plein de saveur et de fraîcheur donc pour un très bon rapport qualité prix.

28/07/2024: Je suis arrivée au restaurant à 21h30 et la serveuse avec un air très froid m'a dit qu'ils ne servent plus ! Pourtant le restaurant ferme à 22h30.

02/06/2024: Les Tontons Afros is quite a well-known sight in Lille as they decorate the outside of their resto with huge teddy bears sat at tables. I visited for lunch and enjoyed some tasty 'tapas' style dishes. All three had good flavours, especially the small kebabs. They didn't serve any kind of coke zero or or different-brand equivalent. That's a dissapointment, and I'm sure I'm not the last customer who will be annoyed at this.

07/08/2024: I came at 13:30 and they didn’t let me go in because it was late. When closing time os at 14:00. The server sad he couldn’t handle He didn’t care at all
