03/05/2026: A small and charming restaurant with a warm, relaxed atmosphere. We opted for the chef's surprise menu with a matching wine pairing, and it was a real hit: honest dishes with beautiful flavors and wines that perfectly complemented the experience. The service was friendly and attentive, took the time to clearly explain the wines, and also offered great tips on the must-sees in Lille, which made the evening extra personal. All in all, highly recommended for anyone in Lille looking for a lovely place to eat well and feel truly pampered.

28/03/2026: M, having shamefully made a mistake with the reservation related to my work, was able to salvage the situation by keeping the appointment. A huge thank you to the team for their professionalism, their warm welcome, and the delicious food. We had a wonderful meal and an experience we hadn't anticipated. A truly worthwhile experience, well worth the trip, in a beautiful setting in the heart of Lille. 27/03/2026: It had been about ten years since our last visit, since we left Lille. What a pleasure to see that the owners are still the same and that we are still so warmly welcomed. A delight for both the taste buds and the wallet. It's so rare to be able to eat such good food in the city with such excellent service!

10/06/2026: Given the rave reviews, we were hoping for a fantastic meal. We left disappointed. The value for money was simply not there. The knives were certainly good, but served lukewarm with a side dish that clashed (parsley sauce versus raspberry vinegar???) and, most importantly, the octopus was rubbery, especially considering the €37 price tag – it was simply unacceptable! In the end, €180 for two people; we won't be spending that much again.

09/06/2026: A wonderful discovery at Le P’tiot Estaminet! We had a fantastic time in a warm and typically Northern atmosphere. The food was excellent: the mussels were generous and flavorful, the andouillette was perfectly cooked and bursting with taste, and the Welsh rarebit with Maroilles cheese was simply delicious, hearty, and comforting, just as you'd expect from a regional specialty. The portions are generous, the ingredients are high-quality, and the service is pleasant. You can tell they genuinely want to please their customers and introduce them to local cuisine in the best possible way. We highly recommend this place and will gladly return on our next trip to the region! 🍻🥘😋

26/05/2026: My colleagues and I booked a table for four for a business trip. We were all warmly welcomed and in a cheerful atmosphere. Furthermore, everything we ordered was excellent. We had a mixed platter as a starter, followed by traditional and Italian tartare and salmon tartare for our main courses—all excellent. The dessert (apple tart) was also flawless. I highly recommend this restaurant on all counts.

14/05/2026: Don't leave Lille without trying the chef's specialties. He's passionate about cooking with local products (high-quality meat and bread from neighboring shops, farmhouse cheddar that's nothing like the supermarket kind) and he takes the time to ask for our feedback with great kindness. The service was also perfect. These days, that's so rare it deserves to be highlighted. We were just passing through Lille, but we've kept the address and will definitely be back. Thank you again! 21/05/2026: With my wife, on a Wednesday evening. You can tell it's homemade, very good. The menu is well done because it includes notes on the spice level: 🌶️ or 🌶️🌶️ or none at all. For an aperitif, we had the to-punch...wow!!! 😁 And all served with a smile. We were delighted and will definitely go back.

27/05/2026: Extremely disappointed with the service. I came with my friends for a birthday, and we were forced to take the €50 set menu for "greater convenience"—I've never seen anything like it! We couldn't even get a carafe of water; the waiter pretended not to understand. The meat was served with knives with rounded tips, making it impossible to cut properly, and my dessert arrived with bits of plastic in it. I had heard nothing but good things about this place, so I'm extremely disappointed.

The service was quick, the chef frequently checked to see if everything was alright, the smiling lady who looked after us was delightful, and the meal was simply outstanding. We ordered the tuna and the tongue. Go and discover something truly unique. It's well worth it!
