01/04/2024: An excellent time spent at Chimi this Easter Sunday.
Our group of 6 people had a great time and the service was really very friendly - highly recommended!
PS: excellent Cantonese-style fried rice ♥️♥️

04/04/2024: We had a great time and enjoyed the tasty food.
I took the vegan plate: all the vegetables were well cooked and seasoned. My partner had the veggie burger: the steak was good but lacked texture and consistency. Having come several times, I would say that we find a lot of the same flavors in most of the dishes. On the other hand, very good homemade desserts. In conclusion, it is a very good VG address, where we find the atmosphere of Belgian and Flemish taverns.

26/03/2024: Took a few of some locals here to try some tradition Eritrean & Ethiopian food . This turned out to be a full on experience. The food was amazing the team were super welcoming and happy to explain the food and more about the culture as well as traditions .
The restaurant is fairly new so it definitely has alot of potential to what it can become . See you soon when I’m in Lille again !

01/04/2024: Fairly friendly restaurant, offering rather good local dishes, with very good value for money. Good room service.
So much for the positive points... The "fresh fries" (yes yes, without "S" according to their sign), look and taste a lot like frozen. Pâté without much interest. Midges were flying around the bar during our meal (our table was right next to it). The tables were quite crowded, but probably due to a room rearrangement for several large groups.
There are much worse, but I have found better.

The service is good
The cooking on the other hand was really disastrous. We were disappointed across the board from main course to dessert. A concrete example was the salad not fresh, but the Welsh was mediocre, the worst was the desserts.

03/03/2024: Wonderful place on the quays, warm and welcoming place, I had the impression of being transported to the Nordic countries. Beautifully decorated plates of 4 salmon at the top and the plate of excellent profiteroles.
Compare to other restaurants on the quays where the bill can be excessive for a fried steak, I really ate quality food that was fresh and good for your health.
I validate and will come back

25/02/2024: Ugh. Expensive for the small quantity on the plate, in no hurry to serve us, a cooked and recooked maroille quiche 😖, no atmosphere, the cook drinks during his service 🧐… in short, to be avoided.
17/02/2024: Very warm welcome, delicious and generous plate, all with a beautiful presentation! Very interesting value for money.
Plus the location, which leaves you with a choice of activities after you've filled your stomach! 😉

06/04/2024: We had reserved a table at this lively restaurant, but unfortunately the service was not up to par. When we asked for entry, we were refused on the grounds that there were too many people, and when we asked for water, the response was hesitant: "I'll see if I can get you some, but tonight it's a little complicated." We had come to celebrate an event, but we were disappointed by this experience. However, it must be admitted that when the restaurant is less busy, the atmosphere is rather pleasant...
05/04/2024: We found this restaurant because it’s Friday evening, everything is full for a typical dinner in Lille!! Just an incredible wait!!! Two hours to get our meal!!!
So, even if we eat correctly it’s a bit exaggerated!!

Homemade kebab with a very good marinade.
The sandwich is a treat with the homemade fries too.
The icing on the cake is a complimentary tea or coffee at the end…
For lovers of real kebabs, go there with your eyes closed
09/01/2024: One of the best kebabs in Lille with a always pleasant welcome! The meat is not too fatty and the raw vegetables are fresh!
