02/06/2026: Nice golf course with a great welcome overall. I went on a rainy day, but the surroundings were very pleasant. The clubhouse was excellent after a lovely afternoon spent there. I'd definitely go back!

30/05/2026: Visiting from Canada, we enjoyed a wonderful meal at your restaurant. The service was excellent. My sister and I came here on May 14 to retrace the steps of our father who was billeted at the former chateau on this site. In the fall of 1944 his Royal Canadian Air Force 409 squadron took over the Lille airfield and drove the Germans out of the area. When I read references about the war much is made about some infamous Nazi who occupied the chateau….perhaps more credit needs to be given to the Canadian pilots and crew who helped liberate the area and drive the invaders out of France!

24/02/2026: Fantastic atmosphere! The food is great, the vibe is lovely, and the warmth is palpable, both in person and in the atmosphere itself! Louis is a top-notch bartender and waiter, not to mention the owner, Michel! He always has a funny little anecdote to share when the bill arrives. The chefs in the kitchen are inspired, meticulous, and professional, all with a menu that changes seasonally and features the freshest ingredients! I highly recommend it. It really brings life to this charming neighborhood in Annappes.

22/05/2026: Far from the city center. 15 minutes to the nearest metro station. In total, it takes 40-50 minutes to get to the center. The staff is pleasant and polite, delicious breakfast: omelet, fried sausages and bacon, many pastries to choose from, delicious coffee, fruit, a large assortment of sausages and cheeses. The room is clean, towels too, comfortable bed. There is a kettle, tea, coffee in the room. The only minus is that the room itself is small. The room is a bit cramped.

28/06/2026: A bit disappointed with Pata Pata last night. We ordered, and they didn't even ask me if I wanted raw vegetables. In the end, I got home with a roll... a fricadelle! Very little sauce... practically none. And that's it! (See photo) Disappointed, and the fries weren't great either. Not sure I'll go back.

20/06/2026: It's much too hot to eat hot food, so I had some cold drinks and a homemade tiramisu. Right now, I'm having a delicious pineapple tea—I can't quite remember what it was—really delicious, I'm sold, and it's so refreshing! Warm welcome, friendly atmosphere, and air conditioning. I could have stayed longer to cool off... oh well, I'll come back with my son next time. I've spotted a great dish... See you soon... yum!

01/07/2026: Honestly, as a regular at Ange bakeries and a recent resident of Wasquehal, I won't be going to this one again. I've never experienced such a terrible welcome! Three salespeople behind the counter, a blonde and a man chatting as if they were on a date (yes, really), not a glance or a hello when we arrived. As for the last salesperson, a very unpleasant brunette, no greeting at all, completely closed off. She practically threw our bag of Délices pastries in front of the till with a nonchalant air, tapping her fingers on the counter as if we were clearly bothering her, all while announcing the total without so much as a look in our direction. I've never encountered such disdain. I work in retail myself, and if my employees behaved like that, I'd put them in their place immediately! I much prefer making the trip to the one in Marquette; at least the service is excellent there, and we're always well taken care of.

30/06/2026: We stopped for a coffee for a minor emergency, but the toilets were still out of order! It says in small print on the door, which you only see after ordering, "If you have an emergency, don't stop here!" For a chain restaurant, this is a serious lack of service, especially when you're serving food on-site.

16/05/2026: The meal was generally quite good. Unfortunately, some of the hot dishes (noodles, fried rice, dumplings, etc.) weren't hot, or were even cold, despite the warmth around the buffet. It's a shame, but overall it was still good.

08/05/2026: The meat was good, but the side buffet was really bad, and the starter and dessert were similarly underwhelming.

10/06/2026: What can I say except that it was the best couscous we've ever tasted!! 🙏🤪😋 We arrived as a group of three just after the kitchen had closed, and the incredibly kind manager welcomed us like royalty! The couscous is truly exceptional, and I've tried many! The ingredients were ultra-fresh and high-quality, the dish was fragrant with semolina, raisins, and unlimited vegetables, all for a very reasonable price! As for the welcome and service, it was simply perfect and incredibly warm. We had a wonderful time, thank you so much!

26/05/2026: Very good couscous, unlimited vegetables and couscous, and excellent pastries and tea. The menu price is not excessive. I highly recommend it.

18/07/2026: I stopped by today to get a hamburger for my son; apart from a measly slice of pickle and the meat, there was nothing else.

14/07/2026: The order came in surprisingly quickly... we were happy up to that point. One star for that. But as usual, we ended up feeling quite disappointed. My sundae looked more like a sample than a dessert (see photo). As a restaurant manager, I understand reducing quantities to make a profit, but this... OH, and a slightly older, blonde employee took the order from a customer next to me, saying, "Oh no, Jamal, you take care of it, I can't," accompanied by a grimace. The woman was just asking for her royal cheese. It was really unprofessional... I can tell you that this kind of behavior is unacceptable, at least in my restaurant. The service definitely leaves much to be desired.

01/08/2026: The best thing about this restaurant is the quality of the food, its all-you-can-eat menu, and its peaceful atmosphere. I highly recommend it! 👌

30/07/2026: We were watched from beginning to end, spied on, and the atmosphere left much to be desired. There were four of us, and we each left one chicken and beef skewer, which wasn't good at all, and one chicken spring roll. €120 wasted. First and last time.

08/07/2026: It's a shame the all-you-can-eat option isn't actually all-you-can-eat... half our order never arrived... an hour later we were still waiting. At €25 for the option, it's a huge disappointment!

02/07/2026: We had chosen this Asian restaurant as our favorite. We would come here to recharge during our work breaks. The welcome is polite but rather cold and curt. You get the feeling you have to be quick to choose, but hey, you come here to be served quickly and eat well. As for the food, we were never disappointed. It's excellent, very refined! We love the daily special. However, we were disappointed on our last visit: the menus have all changed. You have the choice between all-you-can-eat (still €25) or the daily special (€16.50). Alternatively, you can order noodles and rice (chicken, beef, or shrimp for €14.50) as a separate dish. The woman told us that this change was due to difficulties in the kitchen regarding the variety of choices. The daily special has gone up from €15.50 to €16.50, and now if you want dessert, it costs €2, and desserts are unlimited... In short, we enjoyed our meal but were disappointed by the menu change, which used to offer more options. We thanked the waitress who kindly agreed to accommodate us and make a few changes to our daily special, but she was then berated by the chef in front of all the other customers... Quite an embarrassing moment... In summary, delicious food, superb setting, fast service, but a menu change and price increase that give pause for thought, and a welcome that, while polite, was rather cold and curt.
