06/04/2024: Very good Basque restaurant. Everything was perfect! Value for money of the lunch menu is unbeatable or other more expensive menus but with more choice. The wine in a pitcher (Irouleguy) was very good. The warm atmosphere of the hostel located in a quiet location and the price is reasonable. The staff are very efficient and friendly. In short...in Paris it's very rare to find better.

02/04/2024: What a desappointment. We ordered 2 criolla menus for €65 and 1 marina menu for €50. There were only 2 dishes that arrived and the waiter tried to convince us that the criolla plate was intended for 2 or that the portion of rice was the same as mine for 1 person. I looked at the menus of other tables that paid less at €27 and they had more rice, the right to have a whole tamal, plus dessert. It was weird. We had to add more so that my mother-in-law (who is Latino) could eat more than a spoonful of rice. We left with a bill of €134 and we were still hungry....Latina gourmand didn't keep all of its promise in the name....a shame because the taste was quite good. High prices, somewhat cold service

11/05/2024: My family went to dinner there the day before. Within 10 minutes, they found 1 fly in one sauce and a mosquito in another. They wanted to vomit all evening. Not to mention the really questionable quality of the dishes (dry noodles, etc.)

31/03/2024: A bowl of Vietnamese noodles costs 13 yuan. The portion of raw and cooked beef is large, the soup is very fresh and hot, and the millet pepper is spicy enough. It is very good. One more reason to love Paris. The store is large, so go directly.

I wasn't expecting great cuisine...
Let’s talk about the hot buffet, well, that’s the word, the diversity, practical for grabbing a bite to eat with a few friends.
Relatively slow service, and which also systematically omits part of the order (yet marked on pieces of paper, to believe that digitalization has not yet arrived in Place d'Italie...)
But !!! It’s true, a nice place for an evening without too much importance.
Unpretentious restaurant, worth visiting, but not absolutely.

After Rillettes de l'oie, we ordered duck breast with orange sauce and Chateaubriand au poivre gris as the main course - the meat was tender to the point, the sauces were a poem! The two owners (one of whom is the chef) are super nice and polyglot. Some German, very good English and at the end Brazilian Portuguese! A wonderful last evening in Paris! Até a proxima! (Et quand I rentrerai à Paris I reviendrai avec beaucoup de plaisir sur l'offre de voir comment le maître de cuisine fait la sauce à l'orange.)

31/03/2024: Ordered meatballs and asked if they could be made spicy. I was led to believe this would be ok, yet they were incredibly bland. No spice whatsoever! Service was non-existent. Really disappointed that I spent over €75 in here!

04/04/2024: A real well-off Chinese canteen in the neighborhood!
Here we sit at large tables among the regulars and a few people on a lunch break and we chat rather loudly, in the kitchen it's simmering, it's browning and it's smoking! That’s what makes the atmosphere!
Very large and varied menu from dim sum to rotisserie to the chef's specialties, there is something for everyone in the purest Chinese tradition.
The prices are reasonable, the food is fresh, good and the service is fast, efficient and smiling.
A very positive experience both in substance and form, not to be missed if you are in the area, I will return!

Please note, the kitchen closes before 11:00 p.m. I thought it was later.
The staff is very friendly and efficient. The two gentlemen in the room are very professional.

03/04/2024: The best Laotian restaurant in Paris, located between Portes d'Italie and Portes de Choisy.
Highly recommended by the different dishes served by competent staff.
The 5 stars 🌟 are well deserved.
A piece of advice due to the number of customers, either to arrive early or to reserve a table, because of the prestige of this place.
The food reminds me of my stays in Laos.

11/05/2024: A beautiful restaurant, beautiful decoration, pleasant staff, lunch a little noisy but normal. On the other hand, a menu that promises nice things and a little disappointed with the lemongrass soup with the hard sticks and the mini piece of fish and the sticky rice which was difficult to eat without sauce with the fish....
I will try the experience again with other dishes...

06/04/2024: There was a time when this McDonald's was very good. I am really disappointed and disgusted with the place.. the toilets are miserable to the highest degree. The waitresses have dirty uniforms, my menu was brought to me on a dirty tray... In short, everything was dirty! Ugh... Do something!!
