01/08/2026: The perfect little neighborhood bistro! You immediately feel at home thanks to the owner's incredibly warm welcome. The menu is short, which is often a sign of quality and fresh ingredients, and this is quickly confirmed on the plate. Comforting dishes, simple but incredibly satisfying. It's officially become my new go-to spot.

11/09/2026: Not my style. I understand that some people might like it. I'm not a fan of these impersonal, industrial establishments that try to be cool by flaunting a youth and alternative culture to pass off fast food as a product of cultural resistance. I don't feel at home there. Honesty compels me to add that it was very crowded and seemed to be a success. I gladly accept my "whiner" badge if it allows me to express my opinion, which seems to be the opposite of the general sentiment.

16/11/2025: No, this restaurant isn't "Jour et Nuit" anymore, which I didn't know. Now it's "El Walima," with beautiful decor and, above all, delicious food, Masha'Allah. The kebabs 🍢 are cooked fresh on-site over a wood fire, served with salads and sides. The rice is very good, as are the sautéed potatoes and the minced meat sandwiches—amazing, but a bit pricey (€3). The service was a little disorganized; there was no menu and prices weren't displayed, so it felt a bit unprepared. Perhaps they've just opened, but the staff is very friendly and attentive. I'll definitely go back next time I'm in Paris ❤️. Maybe they'll improve things. Oh yes, I almost forgot the harira soup—so good, Masha'Allah! 👍🏻
