13/05/2024: Service was almost comically slow-we waited over an hour for food to arrive, presumably something went wrong-but when it came it was worth waiting for; everything we had was delicious. Choose the set menus with wine pairings, the wines are well chosen to complement the food and this option makes them reasonable. Despite the service glitches and the not especially warm servers, this place should absolutely be on your list for excellent and innovative cuisine.

11/05/2024: An excellent place, with super good and friendly staff! Super delicious food and really very good prices for Paris! It's small but amazing!!! I highly recommend it!! The owner gave us a chocolate bread with cream!

02/04/2024: Visited in May 2023. It was my first time checking into a hotel in France, so I was nervous, but the staff were polite and kind. I arrived in the morning, so I left my luggage at the front desk, and they served me bread and coffee. It was delicious and I was grateful. The rooms are not large, but they are clean and a cute hotel unlike anything you'll find in Japan. There were chocolates and cookies provided in the room, which were delicious. The location is within walking distance of the Louvre Museum. It was nice that the subway station was close too. When I told them I would be leaving after 5 a.m., they agreed and checked out smoothly the next day. What's more, they gave me a pen with the hotel's name on it. I think this is a hotel with very nice staff. Although it is a little expensive for Japanese people, it is a hotel that I would like to stay at again.

19/03/2024: The stay could not be better. Exceeded all my hopes and expectations. All was very clean and quiet. The staff are excellent. When I return to Paris I will hope to stay at La Tamise because the staff was so knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. The location is excellent. We were on the 4th floor and the elevator was welcomed.

05/04/2024: Charming hotel, the room was very nice and very well equipped, it lacked nothing. The service is very attentive and professional and its location is great, you are right in the center and you can visit many places on foot. By the way, breakfast has everything very complete.

05/04/2024: Great location and comfortable room for 4 people, only problem is the absence of an elevator... a little hard with heavy suitcases, but we were on the 1st floor so it's okay...

12/05/2024: It's a Korean restaurant, when you go to dinner with a Korean friend who speaks Korean, the service is different. But this time we went without knowing Korean, the service was less good. The Kimchi were less well served, no recommendation, the waiters were not very nice, we have the impression that they are doing their job and that's it. Damage.

01/05/2024: When we arrived, we were reminded of our delay even though we had reserved and arrived 10 minutes late due to traffic which, by the way, is completely justified given the location of the restaurant. Regarding our order we are rushed and discouraged from taking the grilled meat, claiming that it is for our comfort. I wanted to order another dish in addition to my starter and the waiter stopped me claiming that the dish was well garnished. In the end very disappointed because I was still hungry so I settled on the plate of a person who accompanied me. In this regard, the dish was not good because all the egg had an aftertaste, never again. In terms of toppings it was not quite generous, there were many of us, we were served like it was only one person having lunch. Huge disappointment !

03/04/2024: An Asian restaurant with very good dishes (special mention for the spring rolls), served quickly. Excellent value for money for lunch in this area.

17/03/2024: I was just passing through this restaurant and no matter what menu I ordered, it was all so delicious. There is a store all the way to the basement, and the basement is the best except that cell phones don't work. Instead of going far away to find a good pho restaurant, go here.

29/03/2024: As I write these lines I still wonder if this is all a big joke or if it is really real. Unfortunately, the joke still hasn't ended yet. I had a drink and enjoyed an aperitif with a friend at the Ritz bar and when paying I made a mistake between my personal card and my professional card. So I paid half of the bill with my business card and asked for an invoice for the amount paid. And then... it all begins. While getting a bill for the amount paid is a given in any restaurant and bar. This is a request that is obviously absolutely complex. They first explain to me that they will issue me an invoice for an amount close to the €56 paid, I explain that this is not possible, the amounts must correspond exactly. I am told that I will have to send an email to the director… (I have never seen that in my life but ok) So I send an email telling myself that it is very surprising not to be able to obtain an invoice for the amount paid without sending an email to the director but I do it thinking that it would stop there. What a mistake I am making to think that requesting an invoice from the Ritz would be settled so simply. 1st email the same day I am told that I will have a return. 2nd email the next day to thank the feedback and to indicate that I have not received any feedback 3rd email the next day to request a return and finally have this invoice which seems to me (still at present) to be a SIMPLE request. No answer 4th email changing tone (my weariness is starting to show) This time a return and I am promised a return in the afternoon. The return ? Arrived well. By sending me the departure note and my credit card receipt (these two elements were the attachments of my first email requesting the invoice) 5 emails to different people to obtain the basic receipt and my credit card receipt when I simply ask for an invoice for the amount paid. What mistake did I make paying with a professional card? How much energy was spent on a simple invoice that any establishment is supposed to make instantly. What a disappointment for a place that reminds me of places where everything seems possible and where all requests are achievable. Here the limit is to obviously ask for an invoice. So to date I still have nothing to give to my accountant.

01/04/2024: A welcome little bar in this neighborhood where everything is expensive and ostentatious.....a family welcomes us with warmth and kindness.....2 brothers and a mother in the kitchen Dad sadly left us a few years ago. Wonderful place to eat like at home Wednesday FRIES 🍟

11/05/2024: I enjoyed eating out in this restaurant. I went there 4 times while I was in Paris this time. All the waiters were nice and kind, but the last one. I was there on May 9th for lunch. I had a waitress. She looked young, dirty blond color, medium length hair to her shoulders and had a hairpin on her forehead. She wouldn't make eye contacts while I was waiting and she would just walk by and said, "wait" in French. Her attitude got little bit better when I started placing my order in English, but overall she was very rude. Don't forget people, we're the reason that you can pay for your bills. How dare you.

14/03/2024: A beautiful hotel in the heart of Paris near many attractions and great shopping! You can walk to anything. At checkin, was told my room wasn't ready and we could pay $50 euros a day to upgrade. Seemed like a bait and switch. This was our first time in Europe. Then we are given our room key on the first floor and pointed in a direction. We thought the first floor was on the ground level but the first floor is up one level. Lesson learned! The two gray cats are so soft and welcoming but the front concierge is not. The daily breakfast buffet is a highlight! Great selections and delicious food!! Our driver to the airport was furious when the bellhop did not help load our luggage in to the vehicle to return to the airport. Not the service we expected! Train your employees to be better and you will have a 5-star hotel.

01/04/2024: I was invited to discover the Burgundy snack and so after a reservation online where we take my credit card details (important for the future) I am installed in a small lounge under a glass roof and they bring me a real dessert farandole (3 pieces of cake, a brioche and a lollipop). First observation we get what we paid for (€55) especially since the hot drink of our choice is included but...it is practically impossible to eat everything for a snack. I was expecting very good cakes (which is true) but small portions to taste because we came out with a dolly bag and felt like we were going to explode. The unpleasant surprise comes when leaving: I return to the hostess who asks me if I had any extras and who tells me that hot drinks are included and we set off for a walk again... until 2 hours later I am called back to tell me that I have not paid (the bank details are an imprint in case of no show but impossible to activate it???) and after informing me that it was impossible to send me a payment link and having tried to write down my credit card number on a piece of paper because we don't know how to do it (sic) I am invited to come back the next day to pay the bill. Fortunately the next day I insisted that they send me a payment link otherwise I would do the walk again in the other direction. In summary, an excellent pastry chef, a well-stocked snack and a customer service/experience to be reviewed. Go there to have a slice of cake you will get 15€ for the cake and 9€ for the tea and you will pay by credit card!!!
