02/04/2024: Noisy kitchen where the staff is very discreet, Disturbing pop style music, Unfriendly service without real consideration, Let customers be hassled by street vendors. Poorly maintained toilet, hand dryer that does not work and broken towel dispenser machine. To avoid, service which is not at all up to the price!

02/04/2024: We had a lovely dinner at Vesuvio restaurant and we forgot to take pictures. It was our first time there. We had spaghetti con le vongole and pasta alla norma with a glass of wine. Highly recommended.

03/05/2024: A decidedly UNPLEASANT EXPERIENCE. We were a party of four (two couples). We ordered a bottle of wine and four entrees (appetizers) and two dinners, (duck and pork) which each couple asked to share. The waitress took our order and returned a few minutes later and said they wouldn’t allow us to share unless we ordered three dinners. We asked if we could just order two more appetizers. She called over the maitre’d. We repeated our request to him and he said, “Yes”. We ordered two more appetizers, now a total of six. Five of the appetizers came. The fifth, a salad, didn’t arrive, but we hadn’t noticed at the time. We waited an appropriate amount of time and the first dinner came out split onto two plates. We began eating. It was the duck and nicely done and flavorful. When the next dinner didn’t arrived, we asked the waitress where it was. She said we had just eaten it. That we had two orders of duck. We pointed out that we had ordered duck and pork and thought what we had eaten was the duck dinner split. She brought the maitre’d back. We went over the problem and he said no problem he would take one ducks off the bill and bring out the pork. It came and was delicious. We then ordered desserts, finished them and asked for the check. It arrived and the second duck was on it. Now this is an approximately US $375.00 dinner check. We pointed out to the waitress that the second duck was still on the menu. Once again she summoned the maitre’d. He returned and then denied that he had said he would take it off the bill, even though all four of us heard him, as did the couple sitting next to us. It was an unpleasant confrontation, but we were adamant about what he had said. He ultimately relented. We paid and left with a bad taste in our mouths even though the food was fine.

03/04/2024: The plant tasted very bad, and what can we say about the service with the servers who are contemptuous and who allow themselves to push people in their path. I never post reviews but when you are so poorly received you feel obliged, in order to warn potential customers ready to break the bank for a (poorly made) cocktail.

07/05/2024: A bottle of water is more tasteful than the onion soup they serve here. It’s just bland and if you are looking for any onions in the soup better take a magnifying glass with you because it’s hard to find any onion at all. The gratin on the soup was just melted cheese and not crispy. The steak was too hard to chew on that even my dog would have problems eating it and probably would choke on it. Their steaks are probably just beef cuts That are meant for slow cooking or stews. Anyone that know how to cook knows those are the cheapest cuts of beef. The service is the bare minimum to non existent. The waiter serving drinks while holding the glasses at the rim ,that’s really unhygienic. It appears that they dont have a consistent way of plating the food, when I compared the same dish there are multiple versions. Look for “salmon” dish in the photo and have a look for yourself. In conclusion unprofessional and a waste of money for the terrible food. The only edible items where the foie gras and the fries. The People that rate high are probably who do speak french and doesn’t appear to be a tourist. It’s a tourist trap, I believe they discriminate against tourist. They don’t have pride in the french cuisine and are just out to make a quick buck from you. I really regret eating here. You have been warned, avoid this place! Keep walking, there’s nothing to see here.

18/11/2023: A big thank you for existing. Table of 7 for a quiet brunch with friends. Copious, succulent dishes, idyllic setting, top service, relaxed atmosphere, unbeatable value for money. I highly recommend and I will come back for brunch or a drink. You're great!

12/11/2023: Not only is it a very good brunch, but it is a nice and original place to have a late breakfast on a Sunday! Excellent quality in the dresser, copious portions and friendly service. The atmosphere is quiet and not crowded in autumn. We'll keep coming back, that's for sure.

04/04/2024: Ladurée in Paris is a haven for dessert lovers, and it's easy to see why. The desserts here are not just delicious; they're like works of art for your taste buds. Every treat is freshly made, filled with flavours. While the prices may be on the higher side, they're not so extravagant that you'll need to sell a kidney to afford them. It's a worthwhile splurge for the experience you get. I highly recommend visiting Ladurée when in Paris & treat yourself to their delightful desserts.
