24/03/2024: Lovely little restaurant in the Saint Germain area. Good atmosphere and delicious food (especially the duck)

17/03/2024: Typical place for a nice restaurant in Paris, small, checkered tablecloths, original decor. Unfortunately, the gastronomy is not there. My carrot beef was very (over) cooked, quite dry, mash quite medium and lukewarm. My friend's duck confit was duck with orange, very dry too. 'Homemade' desserts not convincing either. Too bad, really. Finally, the service is correct, but very rushed, the bill must be paid quickly. That said, the new boss of the place seems very motivated. He will certainly appreciate the improvement of his cute restaurant!-)

06/04/2024: Just being very clueless (not to use more offensive terms) to return to a place like this. The worst service experience in Paris! The worst and by a lot! We arrived about 30 minutes before opening and barely faced a queue. But behind us there was a line for more than an hour around the block. The value they give to an establishment as ridiculous as this is absurd. When service began, they brought a salad, 'slipped' a bottle of water paid for without us asking (they do this at every table using terrible English) and asked us how good the meat was. As my wife, I and our two children under 10 were there, the point of meat for the children was well done. They brought them burnt meat, more toasted than forgotten bread, and they didn't change it despite our complaints. Another waitress came and said she couldn't change it. Anyway, in this place, everyone is humiliated and the waitresses seem to be in a race to see who can drag the customers the most, serve the fastest and throw them out to free up the table. If the restaurants in Paris serve very poorly, this was the worst one I've been to! Humiliation and nonsense!

05/04/2024: Dined with my a big group of 6 plus an infant and had an overall pleasant experience. Steak and frites were ok, nothing extraordinary. However, the preferred doneness weren’t followed as 4 out of 6 ordered medium and have received rare steak. The place is always buzzing with customers and space is too cramped. If this not an issue to you then it is worth visiting. Not worth lining up for an hour or so though.

11/05/2024: Excellent, best eel nigiri I have ever had and very professional service. The soba with tempura was perfect. Only thing is, if you come with loud young children I’d recommend sitting outside. We sat in the top floor and it was as quiet as a church with many Japanese people eating silently so we felt super self conscious and rude on behalf of our very loud and boisterous daughter.

22/04/2024: When I want to eat delicious soba, I definitely come here. We recommend making a reservation before visiting.

01/04/2024: I ordered the “Foie de veau pôelé”. Divine! Well served and very tasty. I ordered potatoes to go with it. Delicious, but a little salty. Anyway, the dish was worth it 5/5

01/05/2024: The service was very welcoming, however, very disappointed with the dishes that we had apart from the papaya salad, otherwise the rest was not great, the worst was the coconut flan desert which had a stale taste

17/04/2024: The best of the best, delicious food, meat literally melts in your mouth, and staff extremely helpful and friendly! I highly recommend Lu Sun Jiao (chicken and green asparagus dumplings, Chao Bo Cai (Spinach peanut soy sauce), Ye Nai Ga Li (spicy red curry coconut milk with duck), Ya Song (finely chipped duck hoisin sauce and mandarin pancakes), Loc Lac Beef (spicy beef filet Taokan style) and for dessert Xiang Jiao (crispy toffee banana) with coconut ice cream.

13/04/2024: Some of the items were great, while other items were not so much. Had the chance to try a couple dumplings, beef, red curry, fried rice and noodle. I would definitely recommend the chicken dumpling - savoury and melts in your mouth. Also the beef dish, although not as good as it use to be. The other dishes were okay, but nothing to be excited for. Would recommend only if you’ve been looking forward to eat here - other than that, maybe a pass.

06/04/2024: There are different servers for each section, so if the server is busy, you may have to wait a bit. The food came out a little slow, but it was fun to wait and see the surroundings. The beer was really great. It was just one drink, and I don't know if it was because I was tired, but I was tingling. Onion soup was delicious. The clam brilli is so delicious!
