27/08/2026: Passing through Béthune, this was a pleasant discovery. The staff are friendly, and the food is good and plentiful. Special mention goes to the police-themed decor.

26/08/2026: 36 Quai is a regular place that remains one of my favorites.

06/10/2026: The photos aren't great, but what a meal... That's probably what threw me off. 😬😁😋 An extraordinary, reimagined Welsh rarebit, both creamy and robust (try looking up what a "regular" Welsh rarebit is like). A truly exceptional carbonnade that was absolutely divine (no surprise, it was a World Champion). And a melt-in-your-mouth clafoutis, served with apple sorbet and dry cider to wash it all down. Unfortunately, for "technical" reasons, this gem of the North, Pas-de-Calais to be precise, will be closing its doors for good at the end of the month... 🥲 You only have a few days left to enjoy it!

21/09/2026: We're disappointed too 😞. But there are priorities, and health comes first. I'd love to have the recipe for the strawberry ice cream and the porcini mushroom butter. And don't forget the smoked salt.... Oh yes, you'll be missed by many.... and now where do we go? See you soon for one last time on the 10th.

22/09/2026: A bit noisy, nice decor, the food is pretty good 💖

11/09/2026: The menu was overpriced for what we were served. 85 euros for two people for just a starter, main course, and dessert, without an aperitif or wine. Small portions with questionable sauces. I won't be going back.

21/09/2026: A sandwich that looks like it's been abandoned at the back of a fridge for days: soggy, cracked bread, brown sauce dripping everywhere, mushy, mushy vegetables, yellowish pickles, carrots hanging like strings, and a dark, shapeless filling that looks like something you'd rather not identify. All of it swimming in greasy sauce on a completely stained package. Even the smell seems to be visible in the photo.

30/08/2026: Thank you to Clara (new) and her colleague (I couldn't get her name) for today, Sunday, at the Béthune Retro event... friendly, pleasant, smiling, lovely... very good meal, thank you to the chef, average price, I'll be back 🥰🥰

20/09/2026: After going there for quite a few years (many times even during lockdown!), what a disappointment this Saturday… while the service and choice of toppings are still very good, the thickness of the crust has clearly been reduced by two-thirds since our last visit 3 or 4 years ago, which was also part of the charm of these pizzas… considering the prices, it's really disappointing and personally I won't be going back 😞

19/09/2026: An excellent pizzeria in Béthune! The pizzas are truly delicious, generous, and topped with toppings. You can taste the quality and care put into the ingredients. The owner is lovely, welcoming, and very friendly, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. Honestly, I have absolutely no complaints; everything was perfect. I highly recommend it!

23/05/2026: A very nice experience. The place is simple, with a slightly retro, vintage decor. As for the food, the chicken ramen is very good. A great place for a simple and different kind of meal. I approve and recommend this restaurant.
